I absolutely love the staff at the hungry Howie's on Gunn hwy. They are very nice, professional and customer focused. If the order is going to be late for any reason they call and even compensate for the extra wait time. The food is always hot and cooked to perfection. I've even gotten a nice note written inside the pizza box. This is my favorite Howie's to order from. Thank you guys for all your hard work and dedication it's greatly appreciated.
OK for a corporate chain pizza. They had a deal for a large 2-topping pizza for $9.99, so I got one with pepperoni and extra cheese (see photos). I'm not normally a fan of corporate chain-type pizza places, but the service was great and order was right and actually tasted pretty good for a corporate chain. There's like 8 flavored crusts you can choose. I got the garlic herb which is better than NY style pizzas with plain unflavored crust.
I had an event that I ordered some pizza's for, this was the 2nd time I ordered from this store. As with the 1st time, the pizza's arrived on time, the delivery driver was very friendly, the order was exactly what I had ordered and they came in fresh from the oven, hot and tasty.This is absolutely THE best pizza we have had. Everyone agreed. This is the ONLY pizza place to get it from! And the only place I will ever order from, it is SO good! Thank you John and staff. 5 stars, for sure!!
A pretty reliable pizza joint since I moved nearby. Delivery times are pretty accurate to what the provided estimate is after ordering, only delayed a few times. When I order for pickup the food is always ready by the time I arrive. The drivers are usually friendly as they give you the food, as are the staff inside the building.
Prices are reasonable as far as pizza places go, and the food is usually delicious, with the ability to customize your pizza including how well done it is and how full the topping are. Their Howie bread varieties are especially tasty. The one downside, I have noticed, is that for pickup as opposed to delivery the extra requests are hit n' miss. For delivery my sauce request is always fulfilled, but was not at least twice for pickup. Nothing that made me lodge a complaint, but still an inconvenience.
Still, overall a reliable place, especially for delivery. Reasonable price, good food, and usually on time.
If you haven’t had the meatball sub, you are missing out! For under $10 you can’t beat it! The large could actually feed 2 average adults. I just can’t stop with one half! This is our favorite Hungry Howie"s and actually drive out of our way to go here. We had cheese bread with sausage and it was delicious! We tried a meatball sub and it was pretty good. I would suggest easy on the butter on the bread as it can become greasy. See you all soon!!
They never fail. Absolutely love this specific Hungry Howie's. I've tried other locations and it's not the same. Their flavored crust is just amazing. Love them.
The best Hungry Howie’s around. Recently, I accidentally placed an order with the other location in Citrus Park and the difference was very noticeable. The food from this location is way better! The subs are amazing and a great deal.

THIS is the BEST PLACE AROUND!!! I ordered on phone and didn't know they had a 2 topping for 25 cents more then my 1 topping and I got there in 10 minutes but it was done already, HOWEVER they went ABOVE and BEYOND to get me the extra toppings of my choice and make it work! They were worried I was going to be upset that the toppings weren't under the cheese (extra topping) BUT I was so excited that they didn't waste food and got me my extra toppings and didn't complain!! This place has always been one of my favorite places, (clean, and great food with smiley happy employees)vbut it TOPS to #1 now!! Thanks John (the owner) and Jamie (cashier) and keep up the amazing work! You guys are the best!!! C-ya next Friday night! A++++++++++++
