Hello friends, I had the pleasure of eating at this establishment. Is located inside a plaza with plenty of parking.
However, it is extremely small to eat inside and the waiting time can be long including long lines out the door.
What makes this place unique is that the bread and pastries are made locally onsite which is a plus on my book.
Prices are decent. Bread is good and so are the pastries.
I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich and a Cuban sandwich. Now when I got my egg and cheese it was poorly made with a overload of ham in it and barely no egg. My wife had the Cuban sandwich and she said it was ok.
This is a comfort good restaurant. So once in a while is okay to eat here. Would I come back and try it again and see if the experience is different? Yes I would.
One of the best local bakeries in Tampa. Very authentic food and nice staff. You can’t go wrong ordering their Cuban sandwich, a guava filled pastry, or just a simple espresso. Highly recommend to anyone in NW Tampa
High quality pastries prepared in the traditional , old school, way used in Puerto Rico. Quesitos, mallorcas, everything with guava, Mmmmmm que rico!!! This is as good as the better bakeries in Puerto Rico. I hope they always keep the quality really high!
Everything is great about this place except for the pricing and the portions. Amazing preparation but they over charge and skimp the sandwiches. Here is a photo of the bacon egg and cheese sandwich I purchased for $11
Everyone is very nice and can provide explanation if you've never been to Puerto Rican bakery. They make beautifully fluffy Puerto Rican donuts. The dough is so soft and yummy. They also sell pan de soboa, mallorca and pan de agua. My most recent visit, I tried their sandwiches. I had their roasted turkey, ham and swiss on a pan de soboa bun. The pressed sandwich was bigger than I expected so I was able to get two meals out of it.
We drive 20 mins to La Creacion because they have the best Puertorrican bread in Tampa Bay. The food and vibe is like being in Puerto Rico. Everything Ive ordered has been delicious.
I go all the time for the bakery they always so fresh and their natural juices and sandwiches are delicious
It's really flavorful!! Authenticity without a doubt, " pero una cosita," however one little thing... I've been here a couple of times, and each time, I've been misunderstood both in English and Spanish. Being fluent in both, it's troubling. So, the display case is full of mouth-watering treats! However, for customers who don't speak Spanish, "numbers " should be placed on the desserts. I asked for a coconut pudding cup and was charged and given some cream pastry . ( sorry, no pictures). Hopefully, the 3rd time I will get what I ask for...
Where can I start. My first time here. I tried multiple items from quesitos, to the cubano and alcapurrias. No need to go to PR. The food is as good or better than most places in the Island. Try the alcapurrias; amongst the best. Will come back every time I visit Tampa.
Food was so delicious and fresh , felt just like a piece of our island 🏝️ right at home 🏡 would definitely recommend and come again 💯 customer service was awesome 👏
