Saved our Thanksgiving! After driving to Brandon and seeing the line go around the building we thought we'd have to fast food our Thanksgiving. I'm glad we drove to the one on hillsborough. The newly renovated golden corral was packed, but had plenty of room to accommodate everyone who made it. The food was great! Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, collard greens - you name it, they had plenty of it. Service was busy but keeping pace with everyone. Awesome place! The wife and I are regulars at the golden corral in Brandon. I think we may have just found a new favorite -a lot closer to home, too.
this place have a great distribution for a big or small family, the manu is so mix and hugh than everyone is welcome and has a great time. The people in there is nice, polite and kind. Definitely a good place to share
Service was quick. Restaurant was very clean and bright. I was surprised that it had no holiday decor but no biggie. Food was hot and well stocked. Server was friendly and quick with removing any dish that was on the table. Selection could have been better but not a deal breaker. Only issue was that it was a little warm, a/c needed to be a little cooler for the number of people that were there. Over all, a great time, enjoyed the food.
With the new renovation, the place looks great, almost a crisp look. It would be nice if they offered single use plastic gloves for those wanting to use them. Also, if they could add their dinner rolls to another location besides bakery. My server was very nice. And adding the self-service drink station makes paying faster.
This is a well deserved shout out to AUSTIN. He is top notch. I came in and placed an order for take out and one of the items was not even on the buffet, but he went and had them cook it for me for my take out. This is TWICE he's gone above and beyond for me. He "caters" to EVERY Golden Corral customer. I appreciate so much him taking the time and the effort to accomodate me on a whim. This is the man that should be over ALL the Golden Corrals. His customer service is exceptional.
This buffet is amazing. The steak is so good. They also have a salad bar, and so many other options for entrees and sides. Their cooks plantains we so delicious! They also have a dessert bar with chocolate covered strawberries, pies and cakes, ice-cream and even cotton candy! Definitely a great place to take a hungry family.
I've seen some bad reviews, and I can only assume they're expecting $130 Vegas buffet food for $13. The newly remodeled restaurant is fantastic. It's bright and inviting, and absolutely bustling. It looks like everyone has been anxiously waiting for this location to reopen, and I hope it is always busy. The food was constantly turning over, fresh and hot, and delicious. The staff is all very hospitable. I'm very excited to have the doors finally reopened!
This is a new place. It looks brand new. The fireplace is a nice touch. The service was excellent and so was the food
Just re-opened almost 3 weeks ago. Remodeled. Extremely clean. Extremely friendly service. Good food. Highly recommended. My server was Stephanie and she is amazing!!!
Love the food and service always a smile when I leave and never leave hungry. Place looks amazing since it's been redesigned very much enjoyed the food atmosphere and great food
