Before you even read any reviews just look at the pictures. They speak for themselves! I was down in Tampa for Business and was recommended this place and walked in to see such a tiny European menu and everything on it was simply amazing. The owners (Husband and Wife) add such a fun personality to the place and will sit and chat with you all day. I think we talked to them for at least 30 minutes. The food was just absolutely stellar and I had to inquire about the waffles. Turns out they fly Belgium dough in and make it from that. But then on the one I had it had cookie butter and I was sold when the husband let me try some and I just responded with "I need that in my life now" I got my food and my Panini was absolutely delicious and then I got the waffle and heaven came down on me.
Gave Dolce Enigma a try tonight and it was awesome. 5 stars. Great ambiance, super clean and the freshest ingredients. They import all their ingredients from Belgium to make their Belgian Waffles and all their gelato ingredients from Italy. I had fresh crepes and a macchiato. They have Uber delivery. Give them a try

This place uses legit European ingredients! Luis and Dorota really bring the taste of Europe to Tampa. We love gelato and have had Wafel and Dinges back in New York so we went with the Gelato Wafel with pistachio gelato. Everything was just amazing about it. You can tell the attention to detail in the presentation and ingredients. We ended up talking with them for some time after we were done. They get their ingredients from Italy, France, etc. for the most genuine experience. Also, everything is made fresh and from scratch. We're definitely coming and maybe regularly because of the variety of the menu. Tampa and especially Carrolwood really needed a place like this!
Everything was delicious, the ambiance is really nice, extremely clean, welcoming staff . I had the dark chocolate Gellato and the tiramisu both were amazing, my husband had a coffee I had a bit of it , it was as good as it smelled, no bitter taste at the end. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and you feel fine afterwards, no heavy feeling. I highly recommend it.
First time here but not our last. We had the paninis and they were fantastic can't wait to try the Gelato
I have yet to find anything at Dolce Enigma that has come close to disappointing me, and I'm pretty certain I never will. The waffles are out of this world good. I've never craved a waffle before until I ate theirs. The gelato is on the same level. This is an outstanding place with owners that are second to none in every way. When you have people that care as much as they do about what they are serving you and your overall experience, you can't help but feel compelled to give them your business.
I don't think I've ever left a review for anything, but this place is absolutely amazing to not do so. The food is outstanding! I haven't had anything this good since traveling to Italy, which should speak volumes on their ability to hit the nail on the head with the flavors. The customer service is some of the best I've experienced. They're engaging, polite, enthusiastic, and what stood out to me - they remembered me and what I liked. You'd be crazy to not be a recurring customer after one visit.
The staff is sweet, insightful and warm! This place is fantastic, everything is delicious and fresh. It's refreshing to have such a unique little spot in Tampa. The Owners are very passionate about what they're doing and always pick the highest quality ingredients and it shows in the food. This is probably a new favorite spot of mine, also the location is convenient as well. Definitely a place you have to check out.
Extremely friendly staff. Offered to show my friends and I around then proceeded to give us samples of the gelato. The Veracruz panini was so tasty, and the homemade crepes were delicious! 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be back.
staff was very friendly. we all got ice cream. I got the charcoal almond ice cream, was delicious. staff even came out to our table and gave us free sample as well as an ornament for our Christmas tree :) perfect place if you are looking for something local that is not a franchise.
