I went to eat lunch with my daughter at the Gallo de Oro and we absolutely loved the food! It’s super fresh tasting and the the portion was fantastic for the price! The service was great, too! Everyone was very nice!!
I was so impressed with the food and owners that we hired them to cater my mothers 60th birthday party! Everyone loved the food! The appetizers were delish and the dinner was even better!! They delivered which was awesome; responded quickly to my texts and arrived on time to party!!!

It's a great restaurant with great food the great people. can usually get to Derek special which is one of the most amazing breakfast sandwiches ever created by human hands. As lot of old school people come here just to chat in the mornings and it's a great experience to be around.
While I love this place, I do feel some of the things are overpriced. Like a Cafe con leches could be more in line with others in the area. I do pay for the Derrick special because it's truly a great sandwich. This place is definitely worth a visit it's not flashier fancy, just good.
This place is definitely one of the best Cuban spots on Tampa. Every time I've been here the food has been on point. Plus the service is nice too.
Very delicious food and very nice staff. I got masitas, arroz moro, and yuca. The meal brought bread as a side. All of this for a very low price. I will definitely be back in I’m in the area again.
I ordered via UberEats. In the special instructions I requested "Lime Garlic Sauce" but it wasn't included with the meal. Utensils was also not included in the UberEats bag.
Both times I ordered the side of Salad, and both times they came with no dressing. Maybe that's how they serve their salad.
I ordered the Milanesa Steak with salad and green beans and my co-worker got the breaded steak with yellow rice & beans. Both means come with cuban bread.
The steak portions are HUUUGE.
Amazing! Hidden gem. Was in the area and wanted something wholesome but quick for the family to enjoy. Best authentic Cuban food other than my own and my Abuela's cooking. Atmosphere is quaint, service was outstanding and food portions were great. Prices are very well set. My boys loved their meals! Thank you for a great quick and scrumptious early dinner 😋

The roast pork was incredible! The kitchen was a little backed up, but it was well worth the wait.
