The food here reminds me of when I was living in New York. It's very fresh and homemade my girls Ajani and Ava had the chicken shawarma and I had the chicken kabob platter, and to kick start our meal to this epic world of flavor we had a spinach pie. The spinach pie was so fresh and nice flaky the inside was nice and hot. The overall experience there was really nice and the food was unexplainably good.
The owners are super nice. Excellent atmosphere. I highly recommend to anyone in the Tampa area.
I’m not sure if this place was just having an off day or what. But for dinner on Wednesday, I was the only one in there for about an hour. People did finally start trickling in, but it seemed odd that they had to fire up the grill because no one else was there eating. The food was decent, but the atmosphere was enough to make me not want to come back.
Hidden gem in northern Tampa! Great food that’s made with care for a reasonable price! I got a gyro and a chicken shawarma and both were delicious! Will definitely be back.
Clean restaurant, clean bathroom, delicious, fresh and quickly prepared food. I was more than pleasantly surprised. Their garlic sauce is top tier, dairy free and heavenly.
Wonderful meal. It was delicious. We had the gyro platter with salad. The salad had big chunks of feta and nice olives. The Owner said it was a family business. I was hoping it was a franchise. We will be back. 😉 😋
You would never know from the outside that this restaurant has the most delicious, authentic Lebanese dishes around!! Hands down the best baba gaboush I've ever had and I love to get their Shish Kafta and Beef Shawarma!! I highly recommend to anybody looking for a quick bite of yummy Lebanese food!!
The food was delicious and I felt at home the entire time. The owner is very kind and he surprised us with his Spanish-speaking skills! I’m glad we visited today. Until next time!
Best shawarmas in town, every time I come here I ask for the beef shawarma and I ended up eating two! The hummus is amazing too and the baklava too
Nice little place. Food is ready fast and the owners are welcoming. This place is quite clean, too. The chicken shawarma platter (8.5) tastes good but nothing fabulous. I will come back to try their gyro and appetizers.
Authentic Lebanese food. Everything on the menu is delicious. My go to place for an original Lebanese Shawarma in Tampa. Truly a hidden gem when it comes to Middle Eastern cuisine 🤩
I know Shwarma and Lebanese food!
Growing up in the Detroit metro area (which has the largest population of people from the Middle East - outside of the Middle East) gave me access to the best Lebanese / Middle Eastern food.
Since moving to Florida, I've struggled to find good and authentic Shwarma.
I can honestly say that La Pita has the best Shwarma that I've had in Florida thus far.
The owner is a great guy!
