The staff is super friendly but understaffed, so it takes a little longer, but not a bad thing given their margaritas should be called “crack Rita’s!” 1 and done is an understatement!
But if you’re feeling groggy, PITCHERS of Margaritas!
Cheese dip is the bomb and if you have picky kids Monterey Special! They’ll ask you for it everytime!
Fajitas are a staple here, as well as chimichangas! The staff is eager to please, if anything is wrong they fix it immediately!
We have been here 4 times now and will continue to return because the food is so authentic and amazing!
Wow I’ve finally found a hidden gem in town n country! This is true authentic Mexican food and so DELICIOUS! My take out had a beautiful presentation & taste and i love that they include free chips and salsa. Will def be coming back!
Great food and service!! They have cheap drinks and the margaritas are amazing. The food isn’t very authentic tasting, but still pretty good. Overall, had a great time here on a Tuesday night for dinner. It was a little more pricey than I expected, but still not too bad.
I love the owners here! They are super friendly and make the best Mexican food ever in Tampa! This is definitely a underrated spot. Its one of Tampas secret gems! This will always be my Mexican place for great authentic Mexican food! Do yourself a favor if you have no gone try it out you won’t regret it! You can thank me later. The only thing I wish is that they open at lunch, but hopefully in the future something to look forward to.
Love the salad that comes with dinner. It's a small taco salad! I wish I could just eat that every day! Their salsa is spicy and they have no mild. Which really sucks if you don't like hot stuff. Never been any place that didn't have a mild. Love the chimichangas but same complaint they use the salsa in it. Nice atmosphere. Got it to go. Would do it again
AUTHENTIC Mexican cuisine. Guacamole was exceptional. REAL chocolate mole, really. Definitely family atmosphere. Margarita was good. Caramelized onion and peppers in the fajita was very tasty.
Loved it! I got the Burritos Guadalajara ! & it was smothered in white cheese & GREAT! Chips & salsa good & my server was so attentive & sweet ! Thank you so much for a good experience!
Of course I come here the night before I moved from Tampa....THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Excellent food and some killer drinks! I will return soon as I still have to get my things from storage, lol.
Love this place. Some of the best authentic Mexican food you can find here in Tampa. Maria and her family are Amazing, friendly, and very welcoming. The service is always phenomenal! A must try for a family dinner night. It’s definitely a favorite amongst mine.
One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Love this place. Great value, service is friendly. Can be a tad slow if they are busy, but this is more of a family restaurant than a chain. The atmosphere is good but the place is a little dated. I think it just adds to the experience. If you're looking for upscale, keep on trucking. If you're looking for good Mexican food, and great Margaritas (get the pitcher), this is your place.
