I very rarely write a review for anything so for me to do so means it was either exponentially delightful or absolutely horrible. This place is absolutely amazing! The salad was SO good, the cheese sticks were superb and the pizza was delicious! We ordered the NY Style, half cheese and half Cappy’s Special. We didn’t have any leftovers and it was 100% approved by my hungry kiddos. Perfect stop after leaving Busch Gardens or Adventure Island. The service was on point and prompt! The atmosphere was lovely! The food came out piping hot! We absolutely enjoyed our experience and will definitely be coming back to try their deep dish!! Also the bathrooms were SUPER clean and well maintained, which is always appreciated and isn’t always the case. Seriously go and give it a try, I doubt you will regret it!
For Friday afternoon, we were feeling and instead of a full food we were looking for a place to have quick food.
So, I searched near me and saw Cappy's Pizza which was near our place. So, I checked out the menu of Cappy's Pizza.
From the menu I decided to order Vegetarian Pizza with mushrooms through a call.
The pizza was ready in 15 minutes and I went to Cappy's Pizza to pick-up my order.
When I entered the restaurant, I was surprised to see amazing ambiance of the restaurant and it was beautifully decorated giving the look for a place to have pizza and beer.
I also saw that they offer different drinks along with different beers. From beer I selected Funky Buddha Florida Wheat Beer.
I picked-up my order along with the beer.
The veggie pizza was hot and delicious and the crust was also amazing.
Pizza with beer made my Friday evening.
Amazing service! Our Chicago deep dish was absolutely incredible! The ambiance was cozy and friendly. Everything was clean. All of our food was made with high-quality ingredients and tasted delicious. The small Greek salad is big enough for two or three adults. It's a great value for the money. We highly recommend visiting Cappy's in Tampa Palms.

New resident to Florida, been looking for a good pizza place. Cappy's was recommended by a friend and they were right. Delicious pizza both Chicago style deep dish, and traditional style. Great sauce, crust, and a variety of toppings. I'll be back!
Happy we stopped. We found this great Pizza about 3 years ago on vacation and search it out each time we come back. Nice crips crust from a stone oven. Good service and great pizza. Thanks!
So I had the Chicago style pizza. It is an attempt, but not what you would expect. It was tasty, and I would go again, but not order it again. After eating at Gino's East in Chicago, I have something to compare all pizzerias who claim to make Chicago style to, and unfortunately, this ain't it. But the people are friendly and nice and the salad and beer was good, and like I said it was tasty.
Super friendly staff and delicious Chicago deep dish pizza! Cheese deep dish pizza, cheesy bread, and Spinach salad (spectacular flavor of feta, walnuts, and a balsamic vinaigrette). Yum, yum!!
Deep dish Cappy's did not disappoint! Plenty of ingredients and the cheese had a nice stretch to it. I would have liked a little oil in the crust but it wasn't a deal breaker. We'll go back!
Enjoyed the pepperoni and bacon most (the bacon bits were nice) the chicken and pineapple was odd, but so was my companion's decision to get it. Service was very good. A bit slow to receive, but I don't complain when the food comes out hot.(it seemed takeout orders were a priority) half the staff were wearing masks.
Our waitress was super awesome and friendly! Made the experience that much more worth the visit. We got the calzone and a deep dish veggie. Oh my goodness! Both entrees were HUGE and delicious. Need I say more? Just order those and you'll know what I'm talking about! We also ordered a different type of pizza made with a focaccia like bread as seen on third image from a different visit. It was a margarita pizza. It was very good too!
