This restaurant is a dearly beloved tradition for Ybor and all TRUE "Tampeños". It has a long history for being the place to be seen and to see the movers and shakers in Tampa. It is true to it's origins and is one of the few remaining 60's style eateries. Great Cuban sandwiches, especially for breakfast, and DON'T MISS the Garbanzo soup.

This place has been here for a very long time. We stopped in for a business lunch and I was able to get my deviled crab fix that I haven't had in years! Our server has been there 33 years and knew exactly what she was doing. That have all of the Tampa classics on the menu. This place will not disappoint!!!

Authentic Cuban food. Frequented by Cubans. Good breakfast options. Simple, small options for breakfast.

Stopped by because my classmate and I were super hungry. We made the right decision! Very tasty. Coffee is hot. I ordered grilled chicken with yellow rice and sweet plaintains. It was really good. Probably more so because I was hungry. Anyways, it was a very nice atmosphere and cozy.

Took the free trolley from the cruise ports to this awesome find. Ordered the egg sandwich Cuban style. Yum!!! The scrambled eggs and chorizo was soooo delicious. In addition, Debbie was warm and friendly with a fresh cup of Cuban coffee. We were pleasantly surprised to find this classic gem. Highly recommend and the food is very reasonably priced and you walk away filled!!!

Let me give you the straight scoop on this place...The food is excellent, authentic and priced very reasonably. The staff is very friendly, courteous and prompt. The place is historic and mobsters used to hang out here, per TV documentaries. When you walk in, you almost feel you are going back in time...pretty cool. I've been coming here for over 20 years and when i want authentic Hispanic food or Cafe con leche with toasted, buttered Cuban bread, i make the 20 minute drive without a second thought. This place is so good that previous presidents of the United States have made a point to come here when in town...just ask Bobbie to see the pics when you come in...the only people giving this restaurant a bad name are the competitors and their friends and family...try it and you will be hooked.

This is an old standby favorite when in Tampa. We especially like their Cuban sandwiches and Spanish bean soup. It is a casual place in the middle of Ybor City with parking behind the restaurant. In addition to the sandwiches they have a wide selection of Spanish food. If you like ethnic food you should definitely give it a try. It is not expensive and great!

A good choice for lunch while in ybor for people with children. The Cuban sandwich was good, but not great. The cafe con leche is on point, make sure to get a large as the sizes run kind of small. Overall a good experience and ideal for those with children looking for a quick bite to eat.

The food is amazing.. a good cuban food mixed with a terrific cheese table. There is live music outside in the patio, so you can smoke a cigar from Ivor City Cigars stores. Inside they usually invite an artist.. it can be an humorist or a music group.. or a singer. I was there a couple of time and I enjoy the place, the music and the food.
