The grind has the best coffe and I highly recommend the breakfast burrito. We come from Branson Missouri and the grind coffee shop is on our to do list!!
Such an amazing place - not just for coffee!!! Scratch kitchen with breakfast and lunch menu; with daily specials & baked goods. Staff is so friendly and atmosphere is fantastic! Gluten, lactose and vegan friendly! Amy, one of the owners, is so down to earth and sweet. Going to b a new fav for breakfast and lunch. Seating at bar as well booths and tables. Hidden Gem in Westchase. Sorry it took me so long to give it a try!
First and foremost, this is a great place. I live in the neighborhood and visit frequently. They make a mean cappuccino and you truly cannot go wrong with any of their menu items- personally I am partial to the grits bowl, Philly breakfast wrap, and avocado toast on Cuban bread (make sure to ask for a side of their house made salsa).
Today though, I went for breakfast and sat at the bar. Not 2 feet from where I was eating all the employees had their drinks/waterbottles sitting on the counter. Every few minutes someone would come up, bend down, and drink from a straw. Literally directly in front of my food. It was really off putting and not what I want to look at while eating.
This aside, great place, great service, highly recommend.
The latte and breakfast was amazing! I got the grits and eggs breakfast. It was delicious. I will definitely be going back for breakfast, and I will have to bring my husband.
I was hoping to make this a spot that I go to get work done. After being there for an hour, I was unable to load any website on my laptop or phone. I understand they had a lot of customers, but instead of going there every week to work and drink coffee, I will only be going there on special occasions.
Despite this complaint, I would recommend there breakfast and coffee. Great service as well.

The Grind is my always to go for breakfast. The service is always good, staffs are friendly and attentive. I usually get the westchase classic, it is so good especially those potato. Coffee is always great every times, so many options to choose from you’ll never get tired of it. Highly recommend 👍
Always a good experience the staff is great. The food was good and coffee is responsibly priced. The coffee was good I even grabbed a bag of beans which are good but probably wouldn’t get them again. Got some iced teas here and it was really watered down so bad I couldn’t taste the tea but I go back because it’s next to my work, cheap, and the cortado is my go to. Would definitely recommend checking this place out for the coffee and food.
Neighborhood cafe, located at Westchase, west Tampa area. There is indoor and outdoor sitting. There is a beautiful communal table inside which I love. I have been here numerous times, and always satisfied. If there is a wait it’s usually short and worth it. Open till 4 pm, weekdays open at 6 am and weekends 7 am. There is a special menu for weekends I. Addition to regular menu. Breakfast and coffee somewhere 10-20$ based on selections.
I like Avocado stack ( bread, egg, avocado and diced tomato), and yogurt parfait.
Friendly and respectful ownership and great staff. Kudos to Daniel 🙏🏼 my place to go, have food, relax listen to music and enjoy seeing staff and customers. Rain or shine 😁of course. I hope one of these days they will have an item with my name.👍🏼
Cool place to have breakfast. Food taste and quality good. They have huge amount of coffee menu. I try Greek omelette it’s was tasty maybe little bit more feta cheese will work on it. Also I had pancakes. Was good. I recommend this place. Has good location
Great little breakfast place: typical coffees and teas but unique food offerings. Weekend specials - very busy, with steady flow of customers in and out. Efficient operation to handle volume of customers
If I lived in Tampa this would definitely be a coffee shop I hit up regularly. It’s a really nice area, and there’s good indoor and outdoor seating options. Not to mention the food is fantastic. The grilled cheese has a blend of cheeses in it and I kid you not it’s one of the best gc’s I’ve ever had. Just marvelous. If all breakfast sandwiches tasted like the ones at the Grind, I would eat them a lot more. The ones they have here are just so fresh, so delicate and tasty, they aren’t greasy and kind of gross like a lot of chain sandwiches are, wow it’s refreshing and I’d highly recommend trying any of them, you won’t be disappointed. Their coffee, of course, is also on par. All around this place knows what they are doing, I am super impressed. It’s the perfect place as well if you need to get out of the house and go somewhere to do homework or work and just get a change of scenery.

The grind has great prices, staff is very pleasant, welcoming and had some great R&B tunes playing. Comfortable setup with high top tables and booths in rear.
