I love this place, it's my #1 go to for sushi. They are extremely consistent with their food. The rolls are big and prices are great. My favorite is the Yama roll, volcano roll, and green earth roll.

This might be my second favorite Sushi spot in Tampa. Samurai Blue still remains my top pick. Prices aren't bad and their rolls are above average. Had their bowl for the first time on my last visit and it was surprisingly good as well. Lots of rice but still plenty of tuna and avocado.
Very fair prices, lunch menu is amazing 3 large rolls for around 10 dollars and excellent consistent sushi rolls. Tastes the same every time.
I'm a big fan of salmon Nigiri and its my main dish at nearly any restaurant I go to. This place is great because the cuts are consistent and very large with extremely tender salmon that requires little to no chewing. Exceptional quality. Eel, tempura tuna everything I have had has been excellent.
Some menu items I have had that I would recommend:
Scorched roll
Salmon nigiri
Gladiator roll
Mexican roll
Spider roll
Those are my top five.
Also their lunch menu is stupendous, less than 15 and you get 3 huge rolls with a great choice and also soup and salad.
Great portions and my family and I leave there full with only spending around 50 dollars. Go get some sushi from origami!

Over many years my friends have referred me to Origami Sushi . Now I keep asking myself why in the world did I wait so long to try it? Please don’t make the same mistake as I did. First, I was so impressed with the quality and wide selection of offerings. Next was our service from a server that had only been there a couple weeks? I would have never imagined that to be the case based on how attentive she was to our requests. This is truly a testament to the entire management team that clearly provides a training program that sets clear expectations. The best Large Hot Saki value I’ve seen in over decades. This trip included a to go order for my boyfriend fighting a cold. He said it was the best Miso soup he’s had in years. Thank you for being so close and great! You can expect me to return again, and again for what I consider to be the Best Happy Hour in the Tampa Bay!!
Wife and I stopped in for lunch on Sunday afternoon for the first time. Must say I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and speed of service. I asked for a lemon for my iced tea, but was informed they only have limes. As weird as that sounds, the lime was actually pretty good! We both got the lunch special which is served everyday. The prices are good too. For 2 sushi rolls, ginger salad, and miso it's only $10! You can add another roll for just a few dollars more. If you're looking for sushi, you'll find this place to have excellent food and value!
Always drove by this place meaning to stop in and so glad I finally did! Excellent service walking through the door and at the table. They had an amazing selection and the quality is fresh. Pricing is average for sushi restaurants. I will say, unlike most places, their happy hour rolls are regular sized!

They changed from Origami Sushi to the Kelp Sushi Joint. Their "new" sushi was very delicious but I don't know how often I will come back due to increased prices and no more happy hour deals. Time to find a new sushi place 😪

The sushi is delicious, the service is friendly, and DO try the Ramen bowls! They're to die for! And for those who enjoy authenticity, the green tea is wonderful!
Tried the sushi burrito, got it without rice..wish I would have got it without lettuce too cuz that ruined it honestly. Everything else was nice, really liked the spicy tuna bowl though I got it without rice. Restaurant itself was quite modern. I'll be back, then revise my review.
