Nice easy going dinner. Had a great server named Shane and aside from forgetting the creamy horseradish he was a pleasure. Had the early bird prime rib and half roasted chicken. Both received the early bird price. Nice deal. Food was well above average. Drink selection in the beer department needs some help. Everything hot, tasty and salad was good too. We will return.
Buy one Get one Fajitas on Every Wednesday. We went there last night and the place was packed and we ordered fajitas and OH MY GOD! they were the best fajitas I have every tasted. Our server seemed a little over whelmed due them being busy but all in all we will definitely be there every Wednesday for Fajitas. My mouth is watering while writing this!
The baked potato soup is amazing. The regular salad was amazing. The chicken fried chicken was out of this world. I'm from NYC. It's hard to impress me with food since I have such great restaurants everywhere. Cody's is awesome. I would definitely come back here again while in tampa.
The wings are the most delicious wings I've ever had. Smothered in buffalo sauce and yet still crispy. The bartenders are friendly and the beer is cheap. But be prepared to meet several unsavory individuals during happy hour. Being close to the airport draws in a lot of cheating spouses and there are a lot of cougars on the prowl.
Food isn't bad.. Especially take-out fajitas but hostesses are always rude & just stand around and talk. No 'thank you' when you tip.. Which just seems like they expect it!
Decent Food, Respectible Service. Of all the Cody's I've been to, this location (by far) is the best. The food is great and the service is usually right on the money. Ask for Heidi or Jonathan, they've got it down. Also, get an outside table, there's usually never a wait.
Good atmosphere. Service was good, and food was delicious. Burgers were cooked just right and the grouper was seasoned perfectly. Top it all off with huge sundae of a dessert they have and you'll be stuffed when you leave.
Since we had some time to kill before the show, we ordered a piece of chocolate cake. The waitress warned us that it was big. She wasn’t kidding. It was easily enough for three people to share. The cake was moist and the frosting was very thick and rich.
Very good meal for the price but I found the dining temperature area a bit too cold, fun atmosphere where the server writes their name on your table cloth. My server was Angel and she did a excellent job. Would definitely return.
First of all, Mike made the visit worth every penny. Wet usually went to Clearwater Cody’s but decided to try this one tonight, Christmas Eve dinner with the one I love! The steak was delicious, the BAM was on point, and Mike made every moment feel like we were the only ones there. Thank you for the exquisite service!
The food was delicious, I had the coconut shrimp. It was sweet and crispy. I recommend eating that if you’re a general fan of coconut shrimp style dishes. BUT, take it to-go if you can! The environment can be overwhelming for anyone with anxiety because the tables are close together and it’s VERY loud! However, the food and services are very good, and I would order takeout from here in the future.
Drive by this restaurant all the time, and finally decided to stop. I got the chicken fajitas and it was really some of the best chicken I've had in a long time. and the food and drink was all for under 20 bucks so that's another plus. shoot I spent almost $18 at Taco Bell the other day. highly recommend just check out, next time I'll try one of the steaks, It's kind of an open kitchen so you can kind of see the guys cooking all the meat.

I had been a regular customer of the Clearwater Cody’s from when they opened in the 90’s until they closed during Covid, because I live seasonally nearby that location. Over the last few years have used the Tarpon Springs original one. So I’m really quite familiar with how Cody’s operates.
Earlier this December, I and my friend stopped at this Tampa location for dinner on our way back from up north because it was more logistically convenient than going to the Tarpon Springs one. Had driven by this restaurant when it was the only thing in that plaza area many times years ago when I worked in Tampa and now had trouble finding it because the area was so built up! But this was my first visit here to actually have a meal.
We got there about 4 o’clock on a Thursday so was able to take advantage of the early bird specials. Our server was Jermaine who said he worked there for a number of years and was an excellent server!
We both had the early bird sirloin which was certainly enough, and at that price couldn’t be beat!
Meals were cooked correctly, and definitely appropriately hot, and with two bowls of salad we were full!
The only minor issue we had was that they were out of peanuts that day so we didn’t get a chance to have those. 🙁
This restaurant location seems to be larger and more spacious than the Tarpon Springs one, and more similar to what the Clearwater one was.
During the winter season when I am in town, I might try to go to this one with my friends from Oldsmar because it’s going to be closer for them.
They seemed understaffed but tried their hardest. Mushroom swiss burger was cooked perfectly to medium, sweet potato fries were cold and definitely sat around awhile. Beer was cold and chocolate cake was delicious and enough for two. The bottomless salad seems like a great deal as it comes with bread. It was my first time there and seemed like a Texas roadhouse, especially with the free peanuts all over the floor.
Food was tasty service was great and the drink was the bomb...
Went Valentine's Eve early so we could still catch the super bowl and love this little place! We used to go to Logan's Steakhouse and maybe from the same franchise because it has the same vibe. Don't quote me on it, but it's cute, food is awesome and happy hour applies to cocktails also! ❤️❤️❤️
Service was good and quick. Maybe i wish they slowed down a little as i would have loved a little more explanation on some of the dishes (sorry. We are old) but the service was good. Food great. No complaints overall.
Daily specials such as the 1 pound NY strip steak smothered in garlic butter. A bit too fatty for my preference but excellent flavor. 2-for-1 all day beer special is a great deal at $4-5 dollars for domestic such as Shocktop.
