Very fun place to eat! Food is always delish, drinks are good and service is on point. Highly recommend!
Scott was our server today. I brought one of my Good Good Girlfriends for her first visit today and was so glad to see that Scott was our server. He has served my family on more than one of our previous visits and ALWAYS makes us want to return for another visit. The food is AMAZING so when you find a server that can overshadow the food you have an experience that can not be rivaled. Come in for a meal, make sure you grab a drink from the bar where Scott may be on duty because you won’t be disappointed.
The food was great. If you haven't tried cooking your steak on the black stone, TRY IT. I was skeptical at first, but the steak actually tasted better, and you get to dip it and cook it in the sauces. Waitress was very nice and attentive. For a little bit more upscale place, I didn't expect to hear the hostesses talking bad about the customers. I get there are stresses with the job, but that should be done where customers can't hear you, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Will definitely recommend to others.
This was definitely an experience everyone should do, atleast once. Things I wish I knew beforehand. The restaurant was frigid and smoky inside. (If you have asthma or breathing problems you will need to get fresh air periodically) Ask for your protein raw (on the side) vs on the slab. This way you cook it to your liking and can set a timer or eat as you go. If not, the wait staff will bring it out on the slab already cooking and by the time they have explained the instructions another minute has gone by, depending on the temp of your meat that you prefer this may overcook your steak, just food for thought. The bathrooms left alot to be desired, they were not clean. The seats had pieces missing from them (how does this happen exactly)?? There was water all over the floor from what appeared to be a leak of some kind. I would think from the higher end establishment, the restrooms would be in better condition. Our waitress was soft spoken, but nice. Food was delicious! Definitely recommend the pretzels and cheese appetizer, the garlic cream cheese dip is phenomenal!! The appetizer is large enough for 4ppl! The "side salads" are the size of a large salad. Portions are huge and delicious. Good Experience.
1st, a huge shout out to Tiana our waitress. She was sweet, had great recommendations, and made us feel like a priority. Give this girl a raise. The food selection was outstanding. I ended up with steak and coconut shrimp. He got the “taste of black rock” which was a 4oz filet and 6 oz sirloin. You cook your steak to your wellness on a 750 degree rock. Instructions were perfect and as skeptical as we were that our steak wouldn’t be tender, that baby melted in your mouth.
The sides were awesome. We upgraded our side to a trio of soups. The lobster bisque was on point - creamy with large chunks of lobster.
The bill for two was less than $100 and we left so full we could barely walk.
What a great concept- kudos to the owner of this great establishment. I’ll be returning for sure. Wish I got a pic of the plates - just one of what we did to our food (devoured)
We were celebrating our friend’s 90th birthday. We had about 20 people and a few of them had never been there before. Black Rock Grill did not disappoint. The food was excellent as always ( I’m a regular) and our server, Luke, went far beyond what we could have expected to ensure the celebration was a success.

Second time visiting this place, don’t disappoint. If you want to impress someone bring them here they gone love it. You cook your own stake at your table, sou nice. I order this burger with mozzarella against bread and was my favorite
The restaurant was smokey and dim upon arrival. The host and server were attentive and well mannered. Ordered the chicken carbonara with mashed potatoes and asparagus, it was all salty. I suggested cooking your own meat on the hot stone or ordering your food without salt on everything. The lemonade drink were very light on alcohol for the price but the presentation was pretty.
Black Rock was a new experience for us. We never cooked on a 750° rock before, and the food came out delicious! (Hint from the server- put your meat on the side and cook a bite or two at a time).
Server was great, the food (both what we cooked and what came from the kitchen) was perfect, and it was pretty reasonable for 5 people.
The only downside is living too far away. I'd be there more often.
This was a really cool experience! They bring a steak to the table on a scorching hot black slab. You cook the steak to your preference with seasoning and buttery garlic sauce. The brussel sprouts were amazing as well and my baked potato was cooked perfectly. The server was super friendly and the atmosphere was laid back and family friendly.
We recently went to Black Rock and were seating in a section that a new server was supposed to have. He never came and acknowledged us because he didn’t realize it was apart of his section. After 15 minutes of waiting Hannah E. saw that we had been sitting for a while and took over our table. She was amazing! We were getting ready to leave and she turned our experience from a bad one to a great one. She is a great server! Very attentive, friendly and quick. She was helping a large party on top of a few other tables. Thank you for the great service and always the great food! We love Black Rock and will continue to come to this restaurant.
Went for our anniversary last night and it was PHENOMENAL! SO MUCH FOOD for the price. It's good quality at a good price. Our server was Tineecia and she was amazing! She was engaging and helpful and on top of our table anytime we needed anything. One hell of a server, give that girl a raise! She deserves it! We will definitely be back 💜
