Don’t normally leave reviews, but this place was so fantastic I had to. We were visiting Tampa for the day and our group of 6 all wanted seafood. We did a quick google search and this place was the closest to where we were. We walked in and Tanya greeted us right away and got drinks for us. 5/6 of us ordered the Florida Steam Pot and it was phenomenal! The snow crabs were delicious but it was truly the shrimp and sauce that put it over the top. The portion was huge and most struggled to finish it. Tanya was an amazing server always checking in and joking with our table. Out of all the things we did in Tampa today lunch is the one thing everyone keeps bringing up. Thank you!
Peel & eat shrimp were amazing! Mussels were great as well. Tanya is a great server as well! Def recommend!
The first time here, Juan was our server. He did an amazing job making recommendations & took very good care of us. The food was delicious & we will be back!
It's been a month since the last time we were here on vacation but I can't stop thinking about it!! Loveddd the menu, decor, food, service, even the bathroom was cute! The fried green tomatoes are delish and the Shrimp Mofongo tastes just like I was in Dominican Republic. We will definitely be back whenever we are in Florida. Thank you!

1st timers and will return. Such a cute and fun decorated place. Our server was sweet and knowledgeable but I didn't catch her name. We came in around 11:30am today. Food was fresh and delish! Shrimp and seafood EVERYTHING! Generous portions as well. The prices are higher but you get what you pay for. I mean there is shrimp in their coleslaw!! Yes please! The red potatoes had great flavor and real, fresh cheese. Hush puppies (8 in an order) were moist and yum. I'm so used to them being dry at other establishments. I had the grilled shrimp po boy and my friend got the fried po boy. They have something special here and we will be ecstatic, returning customers. 🥰🥰

--Edit - Came back again 8/4/2023 and still in love with this restaurant. Ate the "fun crab dip" = AMAZING! "Grouper blacked sandwich" also very flipping tasty! and my friend ordered the "fried grouper basket" and was also super happy with it. Juan was our server and he did great. Attentive and chatty. Making this spot a regular stop for lunch. 😊😊
This was my first time here and everything was amazing. Customer Service greeting and seating, our waiter and the food was so fresh. I had Shrimp Empanadas and Fried Green Tomatoes and they were both so very good.
Great food and service! The shrimp and fries are amazing! My husband loved the hushpuppies! We will definitely go back. We got a platter. It was enough for two people!
The Mafongo is to die for. Stuffed with shrimp, perfectly grilled and smothered with tomato sauce that is exquisitely flavored and beautifully presented, it gives you a world-class feel. It's definitely a bang for your buck.
Our server Natalia was wonderful. The shrimp po boy with the crab dip was the best of both worlds. The food was seasoned well and crispy.
Ate here yesterday and the food was absolutely fantastic! I could’ve eaten the fried green tomatoes ALL day. The shrimp and Grouper were cooked to perfection, the shrimp coleslaw was very tasty, and the red potatoes were delicious also. The waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I’ll get her name on my next visit, because I’m definitely coming back here very soon.
Such a cool spot to eat! Simple dining spot, with the red checkered tablecloths, and plenty of atmosphere. The food was amazing. The hush puppies are a must buy!! Had the Louisiana steam pot and it was every bit as good as we've had outside New Orleans.
Just a great call, after a hard pass on a 2 hour wait at another location. I had to try something new and the Mofongo, stuffed with shrimp and topped with shrimp was amazing. Lots of flavors and textures which all blend an compliment. Not to much an any one thing. And that Shrimp Po-Boy my wife snagged. Well let me just say, I got to sample some of that too. Come on by and come hungry! Worth the walk through downtown with an 82 y.o. In a wheel chair!
