I had a great experience at the 1823 Kitchen and Bar over the weekend. The staff was very attentive and professional. Nice casual atmosphere and a really great menu. The first night I had a night cap with a generous pour of Basil Hayden Bourbon neat. I ordered a Coconut Cheesecake to go and enjoyed it later in my room. The second night I ordered dinner and started with the Espresso Martini. Ordered a small plate of the Cuban Poutine. My main dish was the Florida Surf n' Turf with a side Caesar salad. Highly recommended.
Staying at the grand Marriott and decided to stop in to have a quick bite to eat and drink before heading out.
The tampa sunset was pretty in appearance and yummy. They were so good I may have had 2.. 😀
We had the pretzel app....I didn't really care for the cheese sauce or mustard. The pretzel itself was HUGE and a little greasy. But it was good overall.
The bartending staff was courteous and attentive. It's pricy here..... but I'm not surprised being in a hotel lobby.
The breakfast was by far the best meal I had that they serve, but also probably the best dish I had while in Tampa for work. I had the short rib hash which was absolutely amazing and the perfect combination of meat, egg, tomatoes, potatoes, and arugula. Had a fresh squeezed grapefruit juice for some lovely refreshment. Service at this place was excellent, whether it was dinner, breakfast, or afternoons apps and cocktails.
Gotta say for a restaurant bar and grill it was pretty good. Food tasted great and everything was made to order. They even had an uncommon wine we were looking for! When staying at the Grand Hyatt I will definitely visit again!
I love it when the hotel has a restaurant inside. I ordered the buffalo wings (which you get about 6) for $15 and a slice of coconut cheesecake for $10.95. The meal was very tasty. Had it to go and enjoyed it in my room.
I sat here and drank a variety of beer while I waited for my wife to finish her time at a conference. The selection was respectable and prices were relatively competitive with most bars.
Food options all seemed quite pleasant, but the price point for most dishes seemed higher than appropriate.
Service was quick and friendly.
The server was awesome she made sure my drink was always full and cold. The sandwich was a little dry but they provided mayo once requested. If you're in the area and don't want to drive anywhere it's worth it.
Buffet Breakfast was good. (About $24/ per person)
You can ask for drink/ omelette/ eggs… etc and enjoy the buffet bar as well.
Bill can be added into your room.
Good food - blacken fish sandwich is great. Nice bar and staff.
Good food. Good service. Relaxed pleasant atmosphere.
