I have not.eaten here for a few years and was nearby at lunchtime so happy to find Miguels is still a great spot to enjoy some Mexican food. Arrived for a late lunch and was promptly seated by the host and attended to by our server. Chips and salsa were almost instantly set on our table. The chips were thin and crisp and held the delicious salsa well. The house sangria and frozen margarita were very good especially since house brand and served in nice heavy glasses. I noted the extensive tequila offerings and premium margarita selections on the drink menu and hope to sample on another visit. We ordered from the lunch and dinner options and there is a wide selection to suit most any dietary preference. Our entrees arrived quickly and were a good temperature and generously portioned. I especially liked that the tables were spaced apart, the restaurant was clean, the tables were set with fresh white paper covers over the tablecloths, chairs were comfortable and the decor was neutral and inviting with stone, wood, and tile textures. There is a nice wood bar near the center of the restaurant and did not check if the open courtyard seating is still available.. We had no trouble parking right next to the restaurant and noted overflow parking lot behind the restaurant lot, both fully paved and spots marked.

Truly authentic Mexican Seafood and traditional dishes. The burritos 🌯 so money...When I tasted the guacamole I knew this was going to be good. Fire roasted tomatoes and the nachos not real...I'm going to sit and nibble on some jalapeños.....Great take when in Tampa....
We stopped here for lunch after landing in Tampa. We saw this restaurant on our way to our hotel and we decided to stop & I’m glad we did. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! I had the Jalapeño Margarita which was recommend by our waiter. I’m not a fan of spicy stuff but the margarita was perfect! The food was delicious as well!
Easily one of Tampa's best Mexican restaurants (for gringos anyway) that has stood the test of time. Beautiful special event space, a private dining room, ample parking and a full bar. They're especially popular for their weekday lunch specials. Though they offer a large menu, you may find the food rather bland. Still, they're worth trying.
Had a great lunch here, my wife and I walked in and we got seated immediately, we were served some chips and salsa as we browsed the menu, the food was good and the waitress was very friendly! Would love to come back again and try some different things on the menu!
I have not been here for geez almost 7-8 years and it did not disappoint. Tasty strawberry margaritas and the food was spot on. I wish I lived closer to go more often.
Food and service was excellent. Large portions. We ate on the patio and it was wonderful.
Had a wonderful dinner at the bar on Saturday night! The bartender was lovely and so enthusiastic about the food, it really made us excited for our meal. I had the seafood enchiladas which are excellent, and the skinny jalapeno margarita is huge and only 10$! Great place with exceptional service.
Best Mexican food we have found so far in florida and the signature Margaret's are excellent. A little far for us, but we will be back. They also have a very flavorful hot salsa.
Wow! Usually I’m a stickler when it comes to Mexican because they are everywhere and not all are good but Miguel’s was a refreshing new spot to try. Chips & salsa were tasty & fresh. I couldn’t get myself to stop eating them before my meal arrived. The food was prepared exceptionally! I had the fajitas with pork and shrimp. Awesome portions and probably the best pork I’ve had in awhile. It wasn’t a boiled soggy mess but had a nice charr on it and super delicious. The stuff jalapeños with shrimp were phenomenal! I came here for brunch not expecting much and can honestly say I’m dying to go back!! 😋
