I've been shopping at this plaza for over 20 years and I realized I never left a review for this place. I buy the Italian bread all the time and it's always hot, fresh and taste delicious. Even the rice balls and cold cuts taste amazing. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.
This is a local store for me. I go here when I want something but don't want to drive to the supermarket. They have a nice selection of the basics needed and a nice selection of pastries, goodies, already prepared foods, sandwiches, party platters etc. You will always find something good here!
It's a great store. They make THE BEST macaroni salad ever!! Their chicken pot pie is AWESOME. Cold cuts fresh - and not that expensive for a small store. We're in the neigborhood for just about a year, and have many more goodies to try in the future. Would have been 5 stars except for inconsistent breakfast sandwiches.

This was my late uncle Marc Shatzer's favorite place to shop. After scalping me, he would serve me a plate of Novell's stuffing with fresh "mutz". However, I recently purchased a jar of grated Pecarino Romano and was horrified by my discovery. There was a screw (about 3 inches long) hidden beneath my cheese. Whilst the cheese had a more metallic taste, it was still edible. But I don't think this is the doing of Novells Pork Store. I will be back this Thanksgiving for stuffing. Even though my Uncle Mark is not with us any longer to finger my ear hole and give me a quick, butchered buzz, I will continue to support this fine small establishment (though the woman with gloves at the register can ease up on the RBF).
Great Italian Specialties store. Their homemade mozzarella, both salted and no salt, are the best you can find on Staten Island. They also have a full line of cold cuts, dried sausage, and cheeses. Italian appetizers abound, with rice balls and mozzarella sticks topping the list. Prepared foods are also available, as is a wide assortment of fresh meats and poultry. Catering rounds out the list. Novelli's is a must visit for delicious Italian specialties.
I love this place. My family has been coming here since they've first opened up. I can remember since I was a little girl coming and always getting fresh lunch meats and fresh cheese. I love the fresh baked bread and bagels always so nice and warm. Everything is so good and freshly made with love. I love the hospitality you feel from the employees and everyone always makes you feel like you're at home. Great place to go to makes you want to keep coming back.
