Pretty good had pulled pork sandwich and pulled brisket. Dinner sides where good size and tasty. Bathrooms could use a little work but it was good bbq
A MUST have!. My wife and I enjoy going to Rudy's often. The staff is friendly, food is DELICIOUS, and the price is great, especially when you see how much food they give you! I always get the pulled pork, but they catered an event at my work and I tried the Turkey for the first time...WOW! It is amazing. We love supporting a locally owned restaurant and have bumped into the owner several times...always smiling and making us laugh! Great little find for locals and travelers.
Close to I-70, quick, and cheap for lunch. A good alternative to fast food. Sweet potato casserole was very good.
It was really good. The ribs just fall of the bone! And the sides were great. We were just driving through and everyone is so friendly!!! I would love to come back but we live out of state. Try it!
Good side dishes. This being my second time here I had the turkey and the pulled pork, both served hot and moist. Though good, I thought it lacked that smoky flavor you should get from a true smokehouse. I tried several sides, the collard greens, which where flavorful and well seasoned. The scalloped corn was good but a bit on the sweet side for me. The mac & cheese was served hot but I thought it lacked flavor and seasoning. The Sweet BBQ sauce was very thick and very sweet. The Hot BBQ sauce I did not care for. In general I think Rudy's is a good place to stop for good food. On another note, I got there at 8:00pm and they where locking the doors even though the sign on the door said they were open till 9. They still feed me, but choice where limited and I had to take it to go.
Delicious!!! The scalloped corn alone makes it worth the trip! Very tasty sauces...you gotta try the "Lip Remover Inferno"!

Best bbq in town! Sauces are very tasty. A menu straight out of mamma's kitchen. Would eat here every day if I could.
Very tasty BBQ. Pork was a little fatty for my taste (large hunks of fat) but the brisket and sides were perfect. Seating is cramped and the A/C wasn't working on our visit.
Stopped here for lunch (from out of town) on a trip to the antique malls & we’d make the trip without other plans just to eat here again. Love the atmosphere, a real home town home made feel. The staff was great and we loved the food! It’s hard to find a *real* hush puppy and that’s what they had. We had the brisket, pulled pork, and pulled chicken nacho fries (huge serving) - all the meats were delicious and well cooked. The chili was AWESOME, too. Highly recommend.
Have been here three times now over the course of 6 or so months. I've had beef brisket, smoked turkey, pulled pork, half slab of ribs, collard greens, Mac and cheese, fries, and green been & bacon. They were all fantastic. Any negative review must be taken with a grain of salt...perhaps a bad day or some such.
The BBQ sauces are all great in their own signature way. I've yet to try the Inferno as they were out today- the only day I dare try it. My go-to is the Spicy Garlic BBQ.
They also serve bottled beer to wash down the delicious meaty goodness.
The service is as it should be: friendly, pleasant, and timely.
Food was unreal good. Most BBQ is mixed with a lot of fat. Rudy's did an incredible job providing us with extremely tasty pork, with no fat. Sides were delicious as well. And price was extremely cost effective. Support this place any time you pass through the area
Good barbeque with their own signature sauces and I will usually mix the bourbon and hot sauce for a nice twist to my taste and the sweet sauce is very good as well. I had the pulled pork which is a little cheaper than the brisket sandwich and make sure you get the fries a nice big basket of fresh cut fries and great with the sauces as well. I eaten there a few times and I have liked it every time and don't forget to try the chili and the food is ordered go get your drinks and pickles and they will call your number for your order and it's very quick for home cooked smoked barbecue cant go wrong with this choice gotta try it!!
I was just stopping in as a mid way point for a quick trip east. Good food, really nice staff. Great BBQ sauce and tender meat with a nice smokey flavor. Big portions, especially for the cornbread and chili. I may even make the 40 minute trip just to eat here again. It's the only BBQ joint that I like anywhere near me.
