We frequent this place weekly. Best sushi and bento in town. ❤️ Wouldn't go anywhere else for sushi. Crunch 1 and crunch 2 rolls.... Fire roll...Jurassic park...all so so good!!!

I had the Alaskan Roll, as well as the Kamikazi Roll, and both were fantastic! Honestly, it's the best sushi I have ever had. At first, I was leery about eating sushi there because it IS in Springfield... but man, am I glad I tried it. My first time eating there was last Sunday, and I will be going BACK there this evening! Can't wait! :-D
I can't speak on behalf of their hibachi... If I try it and it impresses me as much as the sushi did, I'll letcha know!
Very good sushi & traditional Japanese food, good prices, great value!. I couldn't sit by and not respond to all you spoiled whiners out there that think this isn't a great sushi place. It's wonderful! It's not Haruno (your wallet will thank you for that). It's bright and has a great Japanese feel. They do call the party room a "booth" but my wife and I think it's pretty romantic to take your shoes off and sit at a traditional Japanese table to eat traditional Japanese food. Something that most people miss is that sushi is not their only specialty. This is the only place in Springfield I know where you can get a real bento for lunch.
Favorite Sushi Place in Springfield. I have been to probably every well known sushi place in town. Haruno, Mijuri, Kai, Nakato, Tokyo House and more. My favorite is by far Sakura. They blend very nicely the traditional and the new. If you are wanting "real" sushi as in real raw fish this is the place to go, but they also have the more contemporary stuff with all of it being delicious. And if you're the type that doesn't want to eat sushi there is plenty of completely cooked Japanese fare, and they have tasty tempura.
Every time I go, the waitstaff is friendly, the food is delicious, and arrives in a reasonable amount of time. The interior is always neat and tidy, and I love the way its decorated. A place doesn't have to have some modern, and uber trendy decor to be a fabulous restaurant. This place has tons of charm and is reasonably priced (for sushi, which lets face it isn't cheap). So its my favorite place in Springfield.

A new favorite!. We were invited here for Sunday lunch, and were really impressed! Excellent bento boxes with plenty of fresh, delicious items in each to make everyone happy...and reasonably priced for what you get! Even those in our group who didn't like sushi were really pleased with their menu choices, and we've been back again. For sushi lovers, there's plenty of goodness to be had, and I'm looking forward to trying more!
Best Ever!!. Me and the Miss just dined at Sakura for the very first time. I can't put to words how nice this place was, with the friendly service, clean and inviting atmosphere and the romantic setting. The food was great and displayed very hansome on the plate and table. Without question, if you like Sushi, this is the place. We had the Tuna, Salmon and Baby Octopus Sushi. I will make this a place to take that special girl.
Great food and service. Great prices.. I prefer Sakura to the other sushi places in town. The staff is always friendly and prompt. I've never been disappointed in the sushi. I've eaten there twice in a day before!
It may not be as flashy as some of the other places in town, but for a nice atmosphere, ability to get my food before I starve and great service. Ill always pick Sakura.

My favorite sushi in town. Sakura Roll and Spicy Tuna, edamame and two Singha's to wash it down. Same waitstaff every time we go and always friendly and welcoming.
