Maybe the best hibachi place in DC area. A lot of restaurants are trying to have consistency in their food taste and in Osaka is exactly the opposite thing that makes this place one of the best. Each chef has a little bit different style making food in front of you. That means that it doesn't matter how many times you eat at Osaka, food will be amazing.
I’ve had sushi in Hawaii. This is truly fantastic sushi. Good service as well.
Stopped here in transit to Washington DC based on other reviews and it's proximity to the interstate. Really happy I did as this place is rock solid Japanese food. I had a sushi sashimi combo and the fish was delicious and fresh. My wife had tempura that was cooked perfectly. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the restaurant was extremely clean and had traditional decor. I'll be making this a regular stop when I have to travel north.
Truly the best sushi in the area!!!
The service is fast and friendly and the seating is comfortable and relaxed. It's a successful business but not busy enough that you'd have to wait. We've never had a bad experience and have been coming here for years. We are loyal customers!!
All of our sushi was fantastic and arrived to our table in a timely manner. The spicy crunch rolls (I had the tuna and salmon) were delicious and spicier than most sushi restaurants which I really appreciated. Efficient and friendly service from the entire staff from the moment you walk in the door.
I go here for sushi almost once a week with coworkers. They have a "happy hour menu" during the day that offers nigiri and rolls on the cheap. I eat a lot of sushi - A LOT - and maybe the quality isn't up to par with places like Sushi Taro but it's good sushi for a good price and good service. They also give you soup and salad which is a nice extra.
The sushi portions are large and fresh, and the staff is very accommodating. Prices very reasonable compared to pricier and more upscale competitors... The decor and booths are a little bit tired, but the restaurant and bathrooms are always clean and its my go to sushi place in Springfield. You won't be sorry!
Best Japanese restaurant in this area. Authentic, Shrimp Tempura with vegetables delicious, crunchy and fresh. Side salad was a little too wet to hold the ginger dressing. Haven't tried the sushi although looks great. Just a small place in a little side area of the Springfield Town Center, on the JCP side, across the street from Michael's.
They have great salmon rolls, maybe the best in the D.C.area. They no longer have happy hour on Sunday and Monday evening, which was disappointing, but apparently they still have it for lunch, which I guess I'll need to see if that is the case. The fried rice we had was a bit flavorless as well. All in all, still the place I'll go to for sushi, but perhaps less often
We always get sushi to-go but used to dine in a lot. There is never a crowd in the restaurant and I don't know why! It's the best sushi I've had in Springfield and never disappoints. We always order the spicy crunchy tuna roll, jerry's roll, and osaka roll B. There is one girl who is hard to understand but for the most part the girls are very helpful and nice. Everyone says hello when you walk in the door.
