The ambience and vibe are wonderful. It's like some sort of Neo Victorian rustic steampunk embracing the old architecture of the historic building. Very clean and can fulfill either a fancy night out or a warm cozy Den feeling. But after all it's about the food and the beer! I love how they make a lot of effort to Source their ingredients from local organic and sustainable Farms. That says a lot about the commitment and dedication to Quality. As for beer..... F-yeah! It is definitely a beer connoisseurs dream. Although some of the Showcase breweries didn't rank as high as others on my palate but the experience of getting to try all of the different varieties of One Brewery is a really great concept. Especially when you get to try some of the small batch limited run fancy beers that go through their cask! Overall they get an A+ from me. Like any restaurant s*** can go down and service can get sticky whether it's from some nutty and needy client or a server who is just getting their wings. But we're all human and need to allow space for each other. But sometimes it's a little hard if you're hangry! I will return again and again! Thank you project Pub!
Great bartenders! Friendly staff, great idea of rotating beer companies every month. My only gripe is the food. Bar food will seperate it from Tapastre and thats what this place needs. Bigger portions of fun bar food, maybe some tapas ?? Finger sharing type foods that go great with beer.
Good food, nice atmosphere, and a great selection of beers and brunch-friendly cocktails and dishes.
Great place to eat and drink away a hangover or have a nice brunch get together with friends.
Somewhat limited when it comes to options for vegan and vegetarians, but that’s nothing out of the ordinary.
Would recommend to a group looking to brunch near the Somerville area.
Loved the food at Project PUB! I just wish the hours were more accessible. They offered gluten free rolls for the sandwiches and had a wide variety of menu items available.
Project P.U.B. has an incredibly friendly atmosphere with a wide selection of beers on tap. I also recently attended a cocktail class there that was both entertaining and delicious!
Lovely brunch! It was so delicious. Our server was attentive and kind and because I don’t drink, I asked the bartender to surprise me with a mocktail. They surely delivered! Husband ordered bulgogi and eggs, and I got the fried chicken benedict. Portions were good and the food was flavorful. Make reservations!
I went for brunch, the food quality and flavors were amazing. Our group ordered the Breakfast Meat Board, American Breakfast, and Apple Pie French Toast, and deviled eggs for the side. The meats on the board were cooked perfectly, and their flavor was such that you want to them them stand-alone. The sausage were my favorite. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and texture was perfect. I’m not a pancake person at all but they were really one of the bests I’ve had. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great brunch place, I’ll definitely be going back to try more things in the menu, especially for lunch and dinner.

Project P.U.B. is the definitive destination for craft beer and pub fare in Somerville. The food is excellent, and the tap takeovers add a certain flair to the experience. Everything on the menu has a suggested beer pairing from whatever brewery is in house that month, which makes choosing you drinks effortless.
If you decide to come here, you absolutely must try the duck fat fries. They're incredible on their own, but are greatly enhanced by the homemade ketchup they come with.
My first experience with Project PUB is during COVID-19 and from the start I am impressed with their efforts to provide a safe and sanitary customer experience. There is plenty of outdoor seating, the staff is very cognizant of personal space (social distancing) and are all wearing masks.
The beers on tap are very unique and I'm glad I had the opportunity to try them! I'm not sure I would have easily found them in stores or outside their respective breweries. The pizza was also interesting. The crust was crisp and thin like a standard bar pie, but tasted buttery like a biscuit. It actually was quite delicious in conjunction with their excellent cheese and the thin, juicy tomato slices. I also enjoyed the basil/oil lines that added extra flavor. I am looking forward to visiting again!
