I've lived in town for 5 years & this was my first time there , it won't be my last. Had the most amazing breakfast , and the staff is super friendly. They have a house blend coffe that was so good we bought of bag. To top it off we bought 4 empanadas to have for lunch and they were the best I've ever had !
Had a delicious and authentic Costa Rican breakfast here. If you have ever visited Costa Rica, you know that Gallo Pinto- the rice and beans dish, is always served at breakfast. Their version was excellent along with empanadas and corn cakes. Highly recommend!
We recently got back from
Costa Rica and have been trying different Costa Rican restaurants in the area. Wherever I go, I always try the ceviche and the tostones. I thought the ceviche was okay—it tasted more like a mango salsa to me with shrimp. It wasn’t as acidic as I would have liked, or what I am used to, but the tostones were good, a little too greasy but still delicious. I got the quinoa entree and it was a HUGE portion of quinoa! It also came with a salad, plantains and beans. The black beans were watery and the salad was not really necessary; the plantains were delicious though. Overall, it was a decent meal but I probably won’t go back again for the ceviche. The empanadas looked good, so maybe I would go back to try them. I honestly preferred Pura Vida Ticos better for their ceviche and their tostones.
Awesome
We came for lunch and ordered:
- Fried Tortilla Bowl w/ Chicken
- Vanilla Chai Latte
- Beans & Rice
- Yuca Fried
Our food was excellent. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the bowl but it was delicious and filling - I didn’t even eat the tortilla bowl 🤣
My mom is vegan and always gets beans and rice, plantains or yuca fries.
Prices were pretty normal and so was the service. The place was exceptionally clean.
The best cafe in town! Division Cafe is conveniently located on Division Street for walking visitors and has plenty of parking behind it for driving visitors. We ordered takeout for a Mother's Day brunch, and it brought joy to the whole family! Their service and tasty food is unmatched. Their menu is full of gems all day, but for brunch I recommend the empanadas, dolce de leches french toast, sweet plantains, and vanilla chai tea. The venue has some outdoor seating on Division Street, and a deceptive abundance of tables indoors. Check it out!
Food was good. Service was great too.
Normally service is awesome. Maybe it was an off night or they were short staffed, but we waited 20 min for someone to come over and ask if we wanted water. Than another 20 to find our server. Once ordered and we got our food it was amazing as usual! Best empanadas I have ever had. Will be back for more!
We wanted a quick bite nearby since we were on the go. My wife selected this place, and first look at the menu I thought why (especially with us being pescatarian). The food turned out to be AMAZING!!! We ordered the Arroz Con Shrimp, sliders with Shrimp substituted as meat, french fries and guacamole & chips. EVERYTHING was delicious and the food was not heavy after consuming!! This place is BYOB as well which is actually pretty awesome. The service was great, our waiter was the body builder looking guy, solid dude 💪🏾💪🏾
