I have officially found my all time favorite dining spot.
I stopped in yesterday afternoon for my birthday lunch and instantaneously fell head over heels for this place. Fresh trays of food were being pulled out of the oven and ready to serve as I pored over the incredibly tantalizing displays of meals they had to offer. My sister and I shared the mac & cheese bake, roasted chickpeas with kale, tomato, & mozzarella, and the sausage & mozzarella focaccia bread. I can honestly say that every single bite was as good as the last one. The food goes above and beyond my expectations and you can almost taste the love & care that goes into it. We followed up our feast with a cup of rich, creamy hot chocolate from the hot chocolate bar (complete with bowls of different toppings ranging from marshmallows to peanut butter cups), a fresh cannoli, and a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie (because calories don't count on your birthday).
The decor was just as beautiful and unique as the food. Between the whisks hanging from the ceiling, the fairy lights strewn about, and the wooden planks that they serve your food on, I was in a rustic/farmhouse/shabby chic heaven. The employees were extremely helpful with giving a description of each dish and made us feel very welcome.
To say that I cannot wait to go back is the understatement of the century.
This is my new favorite place. The chocolate chip cookie was the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is so cute, very clever. The food is beautiful and huge portions. All local farm sourced. I had the chicken pot pie where you get to ladle it yourself into the shell. Amazing.
