I finally had a chance to check out the newly expanded venue and the upgraded sound system. Excellent on both counts! This is a vast improvement over the old room, and elevates it toward the top of the cities' listening rooms. The food remains the standard Irish bar fare but the service is great and prices reasonable! A big salute for expanding and improving the room!
Jumped in a taxi last night because Teti Bear's friend, a left handed guitarist, who plays in the band One Thin Dime, original blues, starting around 6:30pm. It was crowded, music was great (outstanding!!!), people were so friendly and the staff was attentive and on top of everything! The best surprise was the food was awesome and reasonable! We had the steak tips and a burger! Some people were celebrating a birthday party in the back and shared a piece of the most amazing chocolate cake. Life was good at Sally O'Brien's and looking forward to going back!
Great live music! I came here on a Thursday night for dinner and drinks and enjoyed it.
Came here for a friend's show. Good spot for music, and a solid (if small) bottle and draft list. Didn't try any of the food, but everything out of the kitchen looked good.
The vibe is chill, and layout is pretty cool. There are some standing tables a bit back from the main bar, so it's a nice area to hang out with friends in after getting drinks from the main bar. The whole atmosphere gets a big boost from the windows spanning the whole front of the place which give a great view of the street while you're there. Would come back again!
Awesome live music spot. Great drinks, good selection, and their menu is straight forward, but excellent. Get the fish and chips, it's actually fresh fish, and was crisp and delicious.

We saw the "Natural Wonders" play here. Music was good. Band was great. The dance floor was crowded. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
Good atmosphere and pub food. I asked for a mushrooms burger and it was pretty good!! Also the live music makes it really enjoyable! I went to listen to the Duppy Conquerors...Great Bob Marley cover band, with many instruments! Totally recommended!
