I adore this place. We go several times a month. The prices are excellent. I love their chips and salsa. I'd recommend getting something with Barbacoa or ground beef in it.
A bunch of us Yelpers got together for Taco Tuesday at Delia’s in Soddy Daisy. This was not a complimentary event, what I’m reviewing, I purchased. The restaurant is one longish, narrow room with booths lining both sides and then tables in the back. We sat at a long table in the back. Because we had to wait awhile for the rest of our party, we had ample time to munch away on the chips and salsa. The salsa was good, pretty basic. We asked for a few different kinds and they brought us out little tups of a green salsa and an orange-ish salsa. The green salsa was my favorite as it usually is. It had the perfect level of heat. The other salsa was a habanero and while it was tasty, it was a little too spicy for my taste. The tortilla chips were made from flour tortillas, which was a bit unusual, but I liked them.
This is the best Mexican food I've had since I left Texas. Seriously, I was shocked. Many people in Tennessee think if you cover veggies and beef with enough cheese that that is Mexican food. Everything I've had there has been incredible, but their tamales impressed me. It's so easy to dry out a tamale, but these were moist and flavorful. My favorite dish is the flautas, which are incredible. My boyfriend always gets the tacos. The service was great and the food came out quickly. This is some of the best food in Soddy Daisy.
Tasty. This is one of the few Mexican restaurants I can go to and actually enjoy the food. Many of the "chain" Mexican restaurants are very Americanized. I'm sure this one is also, but they are going about it a different way.
The set up of the menu is very similar to Taco Roc, and the way the food is presented. But that's where the similarities end. Where Taco Roc used to be good, Delia's is good.
I love their taco's, because they are the more authentic version. My husband who works up there, visits Delia's at least once a week for the value of the food and how it is tasty.
Delia's is definitely worth a visit. They do have wi-fi, and the location isn't very large, but we haven't had any problems finding a seat. The servers don't bother you excessively, which I do appreciate for a setting like this.
Best tacos I've ever eaten. Authentic Mexican food.
Absolutely wonderful! This is some of the best Mexican food we have had in the states. The staff is always friendly. Try the pork tamales, if they haven't sold out of them. You won't be disappointed. Great guacamole & the tacos al pastor are delicious as well.
Wow. Really good food - some of the best chips and salsa. We only had the three tacos and we will definitely be going back. I can't believe this restaurant has been around this long and we did not try it out. I have only heard good things about Delia's. No complaints here.
Best Mexican in town. Sure..they don't have big beers :'{ but the food is awesome. The service could not be better. I have been a half dozen times and I pass a few other establishments to get there.
I have been there many times and I love it!. The food is made fresh and the employees are always very friendly.
3 beef tacos & 3 chicken tacos , 2 lg sweet teas only $10 + tax; fresh ingredients; cooked to order; best tacos I have had in Chattanooga ; took only a couple of minutes to get food.
This place was incredibly busy when we came in with our big party so we expected it would take longer to get our food. That’s no problem. Quality of food was decent. My favorite thing was the chips, they were made different and were hard not to fill up on.
We really enjoyed our meal. Good sized portions, great service and lots of clear choices. The menu has a photo of each meal so you know exactly what to expect. The server was kind and gracious. The restrooms are one seaters. Table chips were so good, probably made each day, and their salsa is yummy. The hot sauce on the table has a bit of a kick … so be ready!
The chimichanga chicken was grilled and had a lot of flavor. It wasn’t just boiled plain chicken like many I’ve had. The grilled chicken plate was flavorful and tender. The guacamole was really good with cilantro, but not so much that it’s like eating a cilantro salad. Turned out to be a great little ‘hole in the wall’ kind of place!
Absolutely love Delia's. They always treat me like family and their food is always great. Not many places offer Torta on their menu and they do not disappoint. The steak Torta is amazing (i got my jalapeños on the side), their salsa is always so flavorful with just enough heat, and their chips are so good!. If you're looking for good food, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere, check out Delia's in Soddy Daisy.
We've been looking for our go to Mexican restaurant near our house. Although a friend has been telling me to check this place out, given our experiences at other places in town I was not hopeful. Fortunately we were pleasantly surprised. Have now been twice and entire it both times. Their chips and salsa are fantastic as is the guacamole. We've tried various things and it has all been tasty. Glad we finally tried it, we will be back!
From the start, they hit you with some of the best homemade chips and salsa that has just the right amount of bite and flavor to please most palates. To follow that is a large variety of unique and traditional Mexican dishes that are all some of the better prepared versions that I've ever laid teeth on! If you're in the area and looking for an authentic, friendly little Mexican restaurant - this is probably your place.
Awesome service… good food… family friendly atmosphere… Taco Bell has nothing on Delia’s
I was very satisfied with the food and service at Delia’s, a cozy restaurant I’d not been to before. The tacos were good and arrived at the table quickly. Their barbacoa was good, but not amazing. The servers were very nice. I’ll have to go again and try something different.
Love, love the food here! We try to go at least once a month for takeout, however, the only complaint I have (and why I couldn't give that extra star) is they WILL NOT take a phone in order! I'm not sure if this is just at peek hours or all the time but it is very frustrating.
