Stayed in Snowshoe over the weekend and was well taken care of every morning at Starbucks! Staff was great and the environment was laid back. Added bonus of having great cell reception and internet here while being on a mountain.
Drinks were good and out rather quickly considering the line. Baristas were nice and attentive. It’s a ski town, on top of a mountain, all help is seasonal, and this is the only coffee shop on the summit. Some of these reviewers seem to be expecting something different, and well I can just say I was very thankful this coffee shop was available for a nice warm up break from the slopes.
New location has a lot more room, but is not nearly as inviting. Interior is bland, almost warehouse-like. Needs some type, any type of decor. It's a ski resort, warm up the ambiance. With nothing on the walls it just feels cold and uninviting in here.
As far as the food and drinks, it's Starbucks, you know what is coming. It's just like every other Starbucks location.
The service was exceptional. Very friendly and amicable staff. Wasn't crowded at all but the server was efficient at completing our order.
Super cute cozy Starbucks at the top of the mountain. Perfect place to stop in after hitting the slopes. Super nice baristas!
I gave a 4 stars because I usually have a good experience but Heidi the cashier was super rude rolled her eyes at me and then yelled at the costumer behind me. I get sometimes food service is stressful but you don't have to take it out on the costumers. I interacted with other baristas there and everyone else was super nice.
This location is spacious with what is ample seating during the week when it's slow however as other reviews have pointed out if it's a weekend or event not nearly enough seating, advise order ahead and grab and go.
Now for the staff and ease of ordering it was perfect, the timing on all of my groups orders were within reasonable time and were made perfect all 4 times we attended and the people were nice for a fast encounter.
The orders were food and fraps and they all turned out great even when asking for little changes such as light ice it was implemented perfect.
Thank you,
One of the most unique Starbucks I've been to, in the middle of a ski village. Fair priced if you order house or seasonal roasts like Christmas blend ($2.59). Very popular! Nice fireplace, all Starbucks should have one. Expect long lines (usually on weekends or holidays), limited space, place is always busy. Location is rather small, usually nowhere to sit, should consider expanding for more seating.
It is one of the few places to have coffee in Snowshoe, but very good.
One of the few nice Starbucks around (with sitting space, a few couches, and tables), it gets 4-stars for existing on top of the mountain. Having said that, they do not have an independent wifi system. Instead, they seem to depend on Snowshoe's public wifi, which is terrible. Baristas are nice. Food and coffee are standard. And in case you're curious, it's open in the summer.
