We ate at Maggiano's our first night in Chicago. The food is fabulous, the quantities are large, and the service was spectacular. Our waitress, Andrea, was exceptionally attentive and kind. The bread, olive oil, and parmesan cheese combination were delicious. We ordered chicken and shrimp pasta and chicken Marsala. The restaurant was very busy and make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Excellent service!!. The food was delicious, and the service was great .. to make this restaurant a 5 stars restaurant , I had lunch today with 3 of my girl friends, our server Gabriel was very attentive and very professional, the ambient was very relaxing. We had a great time!!....Thank you!!

A very pleasant surprise. I had lunch here a couple of weeks ago after doing some shopping at Nordstrom's. It's a chain place, so I just expected to have mediocre to competent Italian food. Boy, was I wrong. I had a seasonal pasta special of linguine with chicken and shrimp and cherry tomatoes in a lemon thyme parmesan broth, thickened a little bit with ricotta. I have eaten at a lot of Italian restaurants in my life, and this is the first and only time I have gotten a pasta with grilled chicken in it, where the chicken was not dry. It was juicy & the shrimp was also perfectly cooked. The waiter informed me that the restaurant has a new chef. I hope that he stays a long time, and I hope they add this dish to the permanent menu, because it is definitely a winner.
