This is a very cool spot! Great food, great beer and the customer service and ambiance of this place is awesome!!! Keep doing great things HopMonk Tavern in Sebastopol, CA! Also the Soft Pretzels w/ Cheese sauce is the bomb🔥 and the Wedge Salad was amazing! Feel like it needed some more bacon or a bacon onion jam smothered all over the wedge salad but regardless it was delicious!
Saturday at noon. The sun is out and the tunes are strumming, live. Self produced Brew is quality plus they offer some competitor brews too.
Hop monk is like comfort beer not just for the taste sense but the live artists open our hearing sense in a welcoming way—so that’s 2/5 senses entertained. ☀️
Wow. I had no idea how cool this place was. Great indoor and outdoor stages. Friendly staff. I'll definitely be back.
Great place to eat with plenty of outdoor seating. There was also live music which added to the ambience.
Wish their menu had more vegetarian / vegan options.
We came here for Tour de Cure. The outdoor area is very spacious. It was perfect for over 200 people.
The service was excellent and so was the food.
Given how central the local is to downtown Sebastopol , highly recommended.

Let me start by saying my original review for Hopmonk Sebastopol was not the best. I went by myself and it seemed to me that being by myself did not seem to matter much to the staff. I felt ignored and left to find lunch elsewhere.
I do not like leaving negative reviews. I always try to give more than one try to an establishment. So I went back his past Saturday for solo lunch again.
Very different experience! I was seated quickly and my server showed up within 5 minutes to take my drink order. I order a Harvest Punch cocktail. It was in front of me in about a minute. It was a little smaller than I expected but tasted amazing!!!
For lunch I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with regular fries. It was good but not great. Fairly priced for the area as well I thought.
All in all a much better experience.
Our waitress was amazing, we got there at slow hour, the place only had like 20 people in it. Scared me a little because it seemed so unpopulated for such a wide space. I was wrong, also it is a brew place so a lot of the customers are more at dinner. She let us sit anywhere we want. The place is dog friendly and very nice. Live music, Great prices. My boyfriend and I ordered a lot of food but the next day the left overs even tasted good. I will return and probably become a regular lol
Food and drinks are always very good. Service was fast and efficient. :)

Josh was our server and did a great job. The food was perfect. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly as was everything else. Wonderful meal!
Stopped in for a quick beer. I had the kellerbier (sp?) And the pale ale. Both were very good. :)
Great atmosphere! Huge outdoor patio with live music. Food is on the pricier side for pub fare but portions are generous and everything is delicious, so worth it. Wings are amazing, salads fresh, and sandwiches with garlic fries are so good. Nice selection of NA drinks and beers if that's your thing. Good service.
Cool place. Seen many great shows in the Abby. They have food and beer if you want it, but we just come for the live music. Grateful Tuna with Legend Roy Blumenthal of The Blues Project on drums.
