Good Dim Sum in North Seattle!. This small place makes everything on site, and the glass cases display lots of beautiful baked hum bao and and other stuffed bun goodies, some savory, some sweet. They have a number of delicious steamed dim sum offerings, including shu mai, shrimp balls, and hum bao. They also offer some traditional rice and noodle dishes which I did not try. There are only 2 tables, and they're not really set up very well for dining, so most people do takeout.
I really hope this place makes it!
After seeing the good reviews we decided to try this place out. Very small mom & pop kind of vibe, really friendly service. We got a series of dishes and all were fantastic. The General Tao’s chicken was so moist and full of flavor and the dumplings were excellent. The Sweet & Sour pork was perfectly fried. I’m very impressed and will be coming back!
I had dinner at this place and had such a positive experience. I ordered their beef chow fun and dumplings in spicy chili oil. They were both so delicious, especially their dumplings!! They make their own chili oil and it is so flavorful and delicious. I can eat bowls of their dumplings. It is a husband and wife owned restaurant, which they opened this year. I chatted with the wife for a long while. She shared with me their story of how they opened this place. It is an inspiring story of courage, gumption and resilience. Make sure to ask her when you go in! She also makes her own candy that she packages up and shares with her customers. They are delicious!! This place is a gem and I'm grateful that I was in this area while running errands. Do visit. It's a special place ran by good hearted and hard working people. Make sure you get her candy for dessert!

Got takeout for a large group. We were all satisfied, but the vegetarians of the group were disappointed with the lack of veggie photos on the menu, so here is a photo of the veggie fried rice and veggie chow mein. We greatly enjoyed the pork wontons! The sauce is amazing
Wow. Blown away by this friendly strip mall Chinese spot. Big portions, no fuss menu. Went 2x in a week and both times the chicken wings were crispy and fresh.
We had a lovely takeout meal from Sunflower Garden. The garlic chicken wings were perfectly crispy and the spicy wontons full of flavor. We also had the beef chow fun, bbq buns, and sweet & sour chicken - all great! Mango juice was also nice and refreshing on this summer day. So glad to find a delicious place like Sunflower Garden in north Seattle! Our kids even asked for more dinner AFTER dessert. : )
Finally, a good local and authentic chinese spot! It’s a small hole in the wall restaurant on Greenwood Ave but I consider it a hidden gem! Service was exceptional and the owner was super nice and helpful. I had the garlic chicken wings and Mongolian beef. Everything was made to order and the owner even threw in a couple samples of other things to try. We will be back soon for sure!
I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and excellent flavor of our takeout. This is undoubtedly going to be a new go-to spot for me and the onion pancake will always need to be added onto my order. So satisfyingly crisp and flakey! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
We got takeout from Sunflower Garden for Thanksgiving night as they were one of the few places open and wow! Not only was the food ready on time, but was absolutely fantastic, the portions were more than ample, and the gal who I believe owns the place was friendly and seemed genuinely appreciative of our business. I've been back twice since and had the same great service and great food.
