Best pizza, complex sauce. Great grinders.
There is more to be had than the Garlic Gulch, or so I've been told.... The first pizza I had from Atlantic Street was called the "Quatro Formaggio", creatively because it was a four-cheese blend. It was, quite frankly, incredible. It wasn't until a couple years later that I tried the Garlic Gulch, and I've never looked back. If I had a last meal to request, the Garlic Gulch would be in the middle of the table.
The Garlic Gulch is probably the best pizza in Seattle. Thick sourdough crust, a healthy topping of cheese, sundried tomato sauce, artichokes and topped with an ambrosial garlic pesto. The ambience at the place is a little lacking, so get it to go.
I've been coming here for years, and I've never experienced bad customer service; EVER. This place has the best pizza I've ever taste in my life. Hands down! The pizza sauce is phenomenal & it's Brooklyn style too, which makes it that much better. Parking is a little hard because it's downtown, but if you enjoy excellent pizza then it is soooooooooooooooooo worth stopping by.
I agree with others on the customer experience and mood of the guys. However, their pizza was almost good and okay. The salads were fresh and good. The only reason that I stopped going there was that the salads were made with bare hands.
Dude, I took one bite of the Atlantic Special, and now I'm sad that I'm not from Washington and that this place doesn't exist where I'm from. Hands down best freaking pizza I've had. Worth every penny. I got the lunch special #2 with a salad and soda, and the salad is quite sizeable, as is the pizza slice. I'm trying really hard not to scarf this pizza right now because it's so freaking good, I want to savor it.
It's a small joint, and the guy working the counter is straight up Italian and tells it like it is. I got my food fast and the pizza was hot, salad fresh, and I am one happy camper. I'd come back to Seattle just to have this pizza again.
