Farestart is a wonderful organization that does real good for the community as it employs young adults that often get services in the 2100 building and gives them an opportunity to get experience in the food service industry.
The coffee is what draws many of its patrons and is inexpensive and well made. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the vibe is always cozy and relaxed.
The drawbacks for me are the menu items that tend to be underwhelming and for the price not really a value. However, there is a small cold case with food for on the go so that definitely helps. It also offers orders ahead of time in case you are stopping by the 2100 for a training or event.
Clean atmosphere and friendly service. Come here regularly for breakfast bagel sandwiches and coffee, can't comment on lunch. Most of the staff is in training so be patient if your order isn't perfect.
It's tucked away on the side of the YMCA building, walked right passed it then walked the building and found it. This place helps the homeless in their community and give job skills to prepare them for jobs. I gave a donation. Every little bit helps.
Friendly atmosphere and great service. Ordered a coffee and grilled cheese sandwich that was 👌 very good. Also, it is a Fair Trade market place which means I supported a worthy cause 😊
These guys make a great gourmet chicken sandwich. Awesome service and good coffee. Nice and friendly environment to be in.
Great food, great people and even better prices. You cannot get an espresso anywhere else for only $2!
Delicious breakfast sandwich and Starbucks coffee. Would get 5 stars but it took a little bit long to get my order...they did apologize for taking so long though.
