Very good burger!
Would go back if I am in the neighborhood.
The place smells a bit like fish, it might be not pleasant for people like me who don’t like the smell. You can always order to go as I did.
I paid ~$15 and got a pretty decent lunch. Portion of fries were perfect, burger was one of the best I've had in the city. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good bite to eat
Local Burger & Fish Spot in SODO.
The staff was wonderful, really felt like a family run spot. Even though the area/outside is a little rundown, the inside was clean and well maintained.
The food was served quick and piping hot. The burger was a good size, thin and big (which I prefer). The bun was soft and light. The steak fries (an upgrade from standard fries) were good, but felt a little overpriced. That being said, happy to support this local spot.
Free parking lot.
Does not smell like fish in there at all, I saw reviews saying it does, but nope, not a trace.
The service and atmosphere here actually made my kinda bad day so much better. The server is so sweet, she's also quick and efficient :)

Burger toppings are well proportioned and overall the burgers are solid. A definitive, comforting, classic, family burger joint, burger. If you're into a retro, intimate, obviously cared-for atmosphere, you'll enjoy.
The food here is absolutely delicious. The place looks very run down inside and out, BUT don't let that stop you from eating there! I think they have the best burger and fries in town! Their seafood is also yummy. They have milkshakes on the menu, which are a real treat. The owner is a sweet lady who greets everyone warmly and makes you feel good about being there. Plenty of parking.
What a great spot. We got a couple of singles and a double deluxe. Made to order and loaded with fresh toppings. I added some grilled onions and it was worth it. Get a side of fries - they hit the spot.

A wonderful family owned old-school flattop burger joint. Truly a Seattle institution.
Hadn't been back there in two years, pre-COVID and they did not disappoint.
The triple Deluxe with bacon was excellent. My doctor told me yesterday that my cholesterol was perfect... so I took a trip to By's to rectify the situation. Now I'm on the couch a happy man! :-)
Man tell you what, I've been coming to this spot since I was 16 years old. Every time I've came, I've never been disappointed.

Chicken teriyaki sandwich with some delicious curly fries.
Delicious and super friendly. I want to try more!
