I’m a chauffeur who will go far and wide for good BBQ in Seattle and the surrounding areas. I was fortunate enough to stumble across a hidden treasure when I visited Emma’s BBQ. I was first greeted by Miceala Who has incredible customer service relations and I was impressed with a delicious BBQ Sandwich, Macaroni and cheese, Baked Beans, Banana Pudding and a flavor that makes you want to Slap your Momma. Just kidding 😂 I rate! Emma’s as a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Go to In Columbia City Seattle or Lumen field at 120 for a Seahawks game… Thanks Miceala for all your Great Service….
First time at Emma’s BBQ today and decided to stop by after reading the reviews. It did not disappoint! Right when I walked in, I was greeted and felt at home. Great customer service! I got the beef brisket dinner with Mac and cheese, potato salad, cornbread and also the blackberry lemonade. Everything I had was so flavorful and can’t wait to come back again!
If they answer the phone—, they’re open. I guess. Their hours listed on line are a fiction.
Don’t get me wrong, if you can get it it’s some of the bbq in the area. My display is selfish I just wanted some of her food.
This happens way to often. If they are open when I drive by, I’ll stop—, not going to spend hours calling and getting nothing.
I purchased the brisket dinner with strawberry lemonade. The brisket was seasoned well and tender. I enjoyed my sides and the strawberry lemonade was great. Yet I think what stood out was owners/staff. It reminded me of home bc they were so hospitable.
That max and cheese took me all the way home. The pulled pork and brisket were so melt in your mouth soft, and their hot bbq sauce is so damn good. Loved it! Great value for the quality of food.
Terrific barbecue and the sides cannot be beat. The best mac & cheese and collard greens that I ever had. My favorite is the beef brisket because it is moist and flavorful. And you can actually see the pink smoke ring just below the outer bark. Divine! Plus the people who work there are terrific as well.
I’ve been to the Deep South. I’ve been to Texas. This is some of the best BBQ I’ve had. Pop next door, grab a beer and get your order delivered to the bar. Magic.
Amazing-very-unique-BBQ Sauce. I traveled the world to eat BBQ. I grew up in a family restaurant business, and became restaurant manager and event manager for big chain hotel. The freshness of the meats, the sides: Chicken, Brisket, Greens and Candied Yam ( Oh My My!) I certified this better than the FAT Willie Rib Shack in Chicago!
It was great cant wait to go again I had a BBQ chicken Sandwich with a side of bake beans and potato salad. The BBQ sauce was delicious and not too sweet.
Amazing service!! "Black" family owned, yummy food. Had to come try for myself. Great recommendation for Emma style Memphis home town cooking. Gotta try them all , started with pulled pork , collard greens , and Amazing mac'n Cheese <3 & corn bread.
