Great place to grab a beer and play a few around pinball, pool, or shuffleboard. The folks here are nice and pretty friendly. Super spacious with lots of seatings. Overall a fun reasonable place to hang out.

Update - they've turned some of the TVs off later at night. Totally love the new place connected next door (Maude’s). Great spot with a cool vibe. Sadly being a bit spoiled by too many overly bright TVs - Especially for such a small space. Sully was fabulous and the food was really good. Hoping they turn some of them off when there isn’t a game on.

Always intrigued by these classic old bars, 9lb. has that dark wood old school charm. Love a place with some pinball machines! Decent beer selection and the bar staff were super friendly and personable. The food choices are priced super fair, but we felt taste wise it was just ok. We did really enjoy both the fries and onion rings! Lots of seating and a great place to hang out with friends.

I had a good time of this bar, The prices are pretty good compared to a lot of other places with high markups. There are also some arcade games to play if you have quarters. It seems to be a regular crowd here.

Awesome dive bar in Georgetown with no nonsense staff. Awesome selection of brews on tap and the classics in cans. Good amount of hard liquor for those who are inclined, but this is no cocktail bar so don't expect a martini glass. Pub fare from the adjoined restaurant Square Knot Diner is your standard pub food but definitely hits the spot. Your eyes will never be bored here with a dark eclectic decor and dozens of knickknacks. The music matches the mood of the bartenders on staff and several arcade games and shuffleboard will keep you entertained till last call.

I wasn't expecting to eat the best cheese curds in the city, but it happened. The honey sriracha dipping sauce is genuinely revolutionary. I stopped paying attention to my wife and friend who dined with us once I had my first bite. My mission at that point was to just eat more curds and spicy honey sauce. I've been angry every hour or so since I had those curds, simply because whatever I'm doing in those moments is not as satisfying as squishing those curdy bits between my teeth. These proclamations might seem hyperbolic, but the only way to dispute these claims is to try for yourself.

I had a wonderful time here for some live music. It definitely did not feel like my first time here. The staff is wonderful and welcoming. Erika, I understand that you must oppose me because I spell my name with a C, but I will still always love you 💓

Awesome dive with beers on tap, a full bar, and a cool “alternative” vibe. This place surprised me with how unexpectedly great the food was. The burger was great (not quite as amazing as Loretta’s, but it’s also kind of a different style), the poutine was good, and the baked potato my friend got looked great. Looking forward to coming back to try their chicken sandwich. The place is surprisingly huge too, with a back room with pinball machines and a full-size shuffleboard table. Would recommend as a casual place to grab a drink with friends.

The breakfast is delicious as expected from any decent dinner. The Patty melt for lunch is really good too. Definitely check this place out. Classic Georgetown.

Love this place. Love how dark it is, love the bar staff. Great wings and burgers here. Get some extra special sauce for your burger or your fries, you will not regret it. The old mahogany bar counter and decor has aged beautifully. It's a Georgetown staple for sure. Have some Ranier and a shot of Jameson or any whiskey and your set to unwind the right way after work.
