I. Love. Krispy Kreme.
I haved loved Krispy Kreme since I was a kid. This one is pretty good. The service is decent and the dining area is fairly clean. The bathroom is a little rough but hey, that's Aurora Ave for you. The drive through is always fast and there is plenty of parking. The hours were reduced for a awhile after COVID, but they are back they back to standard hours now.
Amazing service. Great experience. Stellar original donuts per usual.
Also the donut making machine is so cool to watch. This location feels very old-school classic in a nostalgic way :)
This place is like living history. Donut factory and cafe in the typical Krispy Kreme style. They have a large selection of donuts for any dozen, drive thru and plenty of seating as well. You can watch how they make these iconic donuts here. One funny fact, I was probably the only one who wanted an espresso, the guy behind the counter didn't even know if they could make it and he didn't have a glass for it, so he prepared it for me in a big cup… and yes, don’t ask for it, it’s not good.
These are my favorite doughnuts. I love when they are fresh and warm straight from the bakery. Each time I eat Krispy Kreme it takes me back to my childhood Saturday mornings watching cartoons eating doughnuts and drinking chocolate milk. Those were the good days. Krispy Kreme is still a family favorite after all these years. Will keep them in our little family traditions and recommend you giving them a try. Bon appetite
I ordered online one week ago and picked it up without any waiting time.
We went for Elf donuts, around 3PM on a Friday, and thankfully they had them. They were great. The store seemed pretty clean. Service was a bit lacking, because staff was lacking. There was one surly guy handling the counter and drive-thru, while a line formed at the counter of half a dozen people. Having worked fast food in the past, I'd be surly, too! Another guy eventually showed up at the register and we were on our way.
Yum. I only eat Krispy Kreme a couple times a year, but when I do it's usually this location - going back many years. The donuts are always perfect, every time. I usually have to use the drive thru, as the dine-in area has very limited hours -- probably because of all the lunatics roaming around this part of town wreaking havoc. Middle of the day, their dine in area is open, but I think it closes around 3pm or so. After that, they're open late, but only the drive through.
I needed donuts and coffee for the crew, so I bought 2 dozen donuts and a box of coffee. The store was very clean, nice staff, the order was processed quickly and I was back on the road. Everything was great, although I thought the overall price was a little high, but everything cost more these days. Krispy Kreme is the best place I think for donuts, they taste amazing!!!
Always love to see the fresh donuts being made and taste them right away. The store is roomy. But not exactly neat and clean. Lightning can be improved too.
We bought some donuts. The older lady asked “would you like to have some coffee?” “No, thank you!” we replied. A minute later, “would you like to have coffee to go with the donuts?” She asked again. “No. We are good.” When she was ringing the charges, “how about some coffee?” ..........
The aroma of fresh baked donuts greets one even before entering the bakery. A couple dozen varieties are always on display as well as the frequently brewed aromatic drip coffee. For a working bakery, the staff are prompt to the counter. They also provide complimentary Krispy Kreme logoed paper caps like the bakers wear.
