Consistently good food with delicious in house smoked meats. The smoked Tri Tip is delicious! Friendly staff providing great service in a comfortable environment and a great place to watch a game or catch some sun on the patio in season.
Went for my Birthday. We had people in and out, no more than 6 at a time. The service was incredible. Even as they got busy with a 12 top and an insane 26 top, we were taken care of. Never waited for anything. Can’t say enough about the excellent service.
My first time there was a positive experience. I was impressed with their chicken nachos as well as their curry. They have a delicious BLT and I appreciated the extra attention to detail when it came to the presentation. I will definitely be returning soon to check out their drinks and the rest of their menu.
They’re still here and they’re still open! Not sure how I’ve been to Nickerson Saloon so many times with out reviewing. A staple of the lower Fremont-Queen Anne area. Beers on tap and fresh food at good prices.

Great food and service. Nice selection of microbrews. Not too boujie. Very casual and comfortable.
Great place for drinks and pub fair. They have a wide selection of local drafts on tap. They have pretty good fries. Their happy hour menu has good prices and I loved the location right next to the Fremont bridge overlooking the canal. I stopped by after a work even nearby and enjoyed the venue. Will be back again.

I had pork nachos and all I can say is they were the best I've ever had. Beer is cheap and there is a nice selection on tap. The staff is always friendly. Alot of outdoor seating on a nice day. Just a great neighborhood bar.
Had a meeting close by and a couple people brought burgers from here and they looked incredible so I had to go try it after the meeting. Cool place, large and inviting. Staff was super friendly and service was fast! Great selection of beer, booze and food. Loved it! The Saloon Burger was huge and tasted great!
Nice cozy local spot. The menu is small but handcrafted. Mediterranean plate was amazing! Will be back. P.S. the place is dog friendly, that is really important for us!

One bad experience 2 years ago does not a bad restaurant make. Always a great time at the Saloon, I hope they stick around forever despite how much Inslee hates businesses!
Wanted to like this place so badly! Heard a lot of good things so took a group there after a birthday gathering for some drinks around nine.
Staff was pretty cold to us upon arrival, curtly asking about our plans to order food as though the kitchen was closing shortly.
I recently changed my ID from GA to WA and had my unexpired GA license and a temporary WA one. Showed the bar staff both documents and they refused me service given they insisted that temporary WA licenses have a picture on them and mine did not. Simple Googling will show that the state recently changed the temporaries from those with pictures to those without, and common sense would have me questioning what motivation one would have to altar a temporary license. I fully appreciate the level of scrutiny bars are under to ensure no service to minors, but these guys were especially difficult.
So after sitting on the other side of the restaurant (as I was no longer allowed in the bar are) I was ultimately asked to leave after entering the bar area to request a glass of water. Which seemed...egregious. They were also convinced my friends - also of legal drinking age - provided me some beer, so they were kicked out too!
I’ll try and visit again soon as it’s clear the bar staff was having a rough night, but certainly a less than welcoming environment. I know the law is the law but when you’re in total compliance and told otherwise it’s difficult to recommend this place or it’s service!
This place is such a good spot if you want to just let off some steam. The vibe is very relaxed and not pretentious. The drinks are not expensive and the patrons are very low key. The food is very decent, nothing crazy special. Because the environment is good and the beer is flowing, I still give this place a thumbs up. The bartender also doesn't put up with obnoxious people, so you don't have to worry about someone ruining your vibes.
