Best chicken in town. I grew up in Minnesota, where 'broasted chicken' was all the rage at your local A&W Drive In. It's more than a gimmick (Google 'Broasted Chicken.) Simply, stated, the breaded chicken is cooked in hot oil under pressure. When cooked just right, it's unbeatable. Marco Polo is a no-frills restaurant with good food and friendly service. Prices are downright cheap compared to Seattle restaurant fare. Wear your jeans and bring a friend. Oh, and order the side of potato salad.
Crinkle Cuts. I finally found crinkle cuts in Seattle!!! Fry Sauce, Pressure Cooked Chicken, and great service too. A+++ in my book.
Pressure Fried Chicken. Dive bar with excellent pressure fried chicken. Heavy on the NASCAR. Yellow race car in bar.
I work close to Marco Polo and frequently come here for lunch, so my review is solely based on that. I have no option of the night life there.
First off, the service is always great, they immediately take care of us and we never wait too long. As soon as the drinks get low they refill asap.
The food is great, everyone I work with including myself loves the fried chicken. It is amazing. I've also had burgers and other things, and everything is great.
If you're in the area you should definitely swing by and grab lunch!

I've ordered to pick up a few times, here and there, when I'm over in Georgetown visiting my daughter. The chicken is tasty! Breaded and deep-fried, it comes with a side. This time, I ordered fries. They were crinkle cut and good. I usually get the coleslaw, which is good too.
I can't speak to anything but the quick run-in and get my chow. It no doubt has an atmosphere. It's an older bar that had a few patrons there at 2 p.m., when I ran in. I did notice the pull tabs. That always looks like fun to me!
I've never made a trip to Georgetown to get chicken, but I usually think of getting an order when I go to visit.
Bartenders were very attentive and friendly. If you come for food around lunchtime, there will probably be a wait because the food is that good, but it's a perfect place to have a drink while your waiting!
A really fun and lowkey bar in the SoDo neighborhood of Seattle. Great food and drinks, spacious with plenty of games to pass time. Will definitely revisit!
The staff are super on top of it and always take great care of our group.
The fried chicken is awesome. Parking can be intense but there are lots in front of and behind the bar.
My first and only time at this bar was a very enjoyable experience. Staff was extremely polite, professional and good at their jobs. Drinks came quickly and food while slow at times [when they get busy] at least was hot and delicious with big portions. Pretty relaxed atmosphere a fun place to enjoy games on all of the TV'S or karaoke.
What's not to like?
Oh, that the broasted chicken and JoJos (potato wedges) come out hot enougb to melt your teeth, and you have to sit there smelling all that goodness for minutes before you can eat w/o 2nd degree burns from your lips on down? Pleeease.
Decent beer selection, adequate back bar, top notch pub grub, more screens than I can focus on, 2 sets of restrooms, and outside areas in the warm weather.
Decent parking, too.
Chill sports bar with great food. Friendly staff, fair prices. People seemed to really enjoy the chicken. It looked good. I had a Ruben and it was delicious. Had a tasty bloody Mary, too.
Update: karaoke is on! 🎤
Delicious food with a great atmosphere, came in late at night and caught a fun karaoke crew. Definitely a nice spot.
Popular with construction workers. Simple bar with a simple pool table, which is paid for by the hour. They poured with a heavy hand and the drinks were an okay price, but only because they gave me a glass of vodka with a splash of soda. The patio is fabulous though, and you’re welcome to smoke out there! It’s nice and shady in the afternoon/early evening when it gets hot. We ended up spending most of our time out there because it was much quieter than inside, which was surprisingly busy at 4:30 on a Friday. I’ll be back at some point to try the food, which I hear is good.
