I recently moved to the neighborhood so I got lunch, to go, twice now. The first day I ordered the smoked pastrami sandwich. The quality and quantity was really good. It was filling, tasty and definitely something I recommend. My wife got the macha bowl which was also pretty great. The protein portion was good and I really loved the freshness. The next day I got a chicken pesto sandwich which was also very tasty. The chicken pesto in the sandwich was very tasty and flavorful. I also took a side salad.
I want to say thank you to Cathy! She provides the best service!!!
Homegrown is one of my favorite salad place. I always ordered from the Capitol Hill one and they have default to dressing on the side. This is my first time ordering here but they have dressing mixed in.
I was soooo hungry and when I saw the dressing mixed in, I wanted to cry because that is way too oily for me.
I came back to the store and someone told me I have to specifically mention that I want the dressing on the side. I was thinking I’ll never order from here anymore. I wanted to cry.
BUT‼️ Cathy came out and said she want me to satisfy and she can make one for me!!! OMG The best service!!!! Thank you Cathy ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very tasty and healthy!!
High quality and fresh!
Lots of vegetarian/vegan food
The staff was so kind and cool
H O T recommendation!!
Food is always fresh and tasty. The salads are my go to every time I come, but the menu has wonderful options. The seating outside is nice especially on a sunny day.
The chicken pesto was great but they went way too heavy on the sauce (made of unnecessarily messy and didn’t contribute further to the overall flavor/taste). The portions are generous and the food was prepared relatively quickly considering how packed it was. The servers were obviously stressed out because they weren’t friendly but it’s almost understandable considering the staff shortages across the country. Biggest complaint would be the lack of sitting space but our family of 4 just ate across the street so it wasn’t too bad. Would recommend for singletons as it wasn’t very family friendly.
Had the pesto chicken sandwich with Kettle chips, a pickle and cup of tea. Bit pricey ($20 not including tip) for a counter-served lunch.
The sandwich was great. Wouldn't change a thing about it.
Pickle was huge, but sweet and very vinagery. I prefer a dill pickle with a sandwich so wasn't a big fan.
Kettle brand chips are exactly what you expect.
Staff were very friendly. The main cashier guy went out of his way to be helpful and personable even after I ordered and paid.
I'd eat here again, but skip the pickle and maybe try a soup or salad as a side.
The fact that this place is unionized makes me very excited to support it if/when they reach a proper bargain with their employees.
Really like the place. The bread they use is amazing. I love their steak and chickpeas sandwich.
the zaatar mashed chickpea sandwich is so good, i get it everytime! Its always consistent in quality, freshness, and portion.
Great atmosphere for a quick bite or rest. Everything is good. Worth stopping by if you haven't. Seattle area pricing, so expect about $16 for a sandwich and drink.
