Linda’s is one of the few original Capitol Hill institutions that feels just like it did before everything got gentrified. One of the best places to hang out any time of day or night. This is a go to spot for hungover weekend brunch: favs are Alamo Scramble and Chilaquiles washed down with Seattle’s best Bloody Mary. The outdoor back patio is huge and this bar is one of the few places remaining in Seattle with a smoking area that you don’t have to leave the bar to go to (there’s an alley in the back that is still part of Linda’s but far enough away from windows and doors to be within city regulations).
Great food! Awesome and helpful staff! The Happy meal and paloma are tasty! I go more often now than I have before and I have had good service every time!
We got there at 2:30 pm on a Saturday and we weren't super hungry, so we were hoping to get a few apps to share. They were only serving the brunch menu until 3pm, and no food service between 3-4pm, but no biggie, I just ordered a beer and some fries (get the ranch, it's the best). The service was great, the food was delicious, and the place had a good vibe. There are a few things I want to try from the dinner menu, so we will definitely be back.
Excellent atmosphere, great patio out back, mellow and comfortable. Got a perfect hazy on a hot day. You won’t be disappointed.
Awesome people working here… and the best mozzarella sticks of my life. Talk about a cheese pull!!
A great bar for meeting up with friends. Not only do they have plenty of indoor seating, there is a huge patio out back with a second bar. The drinks were great and they have a good selection of beers. The chicken tenders were delicious. They seemed like they were hand breaded just before they were made, not the parade frozen type. Really good fries too. The staff was really nice and helpful. Linda's does a really good job of making an inviting atmosphere that will make you want to keep coming back.
It’s part of the collection of staple Capitol Hill dive bar scene! Underrated backyard with the occasional bar option.
Take over the jukebox or Photo Booth… everything here is what you would expect!
Weird to line up at the bar however.
It had been years since I last went to Linda's... I avoided it mostly because it had become too popular. It's still that way, but I think there are definitely times when they are slower... We did a matinee at the Egyptian on a Saturday. It was a really sunny day so decided to try the patio at Linda's. They weren't crowded at all. The host was really great! They anticipated we wanted a good table in the shade, so they made sure we got it. We didn't have to ask for anything... They had everything together. We got waited on right away and got our food right away... I had the waffles at brunch time. Really good. Great beer selection, especially the rotating taps. We ended up spending a lot of time and spending lots of money but it was all worth it. They have a drag brunch from time to time, and of course that's when they got busy... I recommend going right BEFORE that event when things have slowed down there.
Historic bar with excellent food (and a great happy hour) and impeccable vibes
Phenomenal divey bar with a great outdoor area! Love going here for happy hour and getting a cheeseburger or late night for some last call beers!
