Sawyer is one of the BEST restaurants in Seattle!! I dined here in July 2022, and every part of the experience was AMAZING! The menu was creative and delicious, seamlessly integrating seasonal ingredients artistically with bold flavors and beautiful plating. We ordered the iconic pork buns which were definitely worth the hype -- the bun was fluffy and the pork was delicious. Then, we all ordered our own dishes, including the cod, steak, salmon, and shrimp. Everyone loved their food! And the dessert was incredible -- so light, refreshing, and sweet. I absolutely loved Sawyer and cannot wait to come back; the food was easily the best in the city!! I cannot recommend Sawyer enough!

Sorry, but I'm gonna have to jump on the Sawyer Ballard bandwagon! The food was AWESOME and the servers were so friendly and good. Be warned ⚠️: the portions are on the healthy side but you still should try as many dishes as you can. For the quality of food and preparation, the prices are more than fair. You have to show your vax card so make sure you have that when you arrive. Such a great experience that I will surely be back!

You can’t go wrong with any of the items on their brunch menu. Whatever we ordered tasted great. We got the banana foster pancakes (super fluffy and the whipped cream that came with it was just amazing), brunch potatoes and the brunchwrap. Their portion size is on the larger side but I have zero complaints about that!!

Love it! Wow what unique dishes! Great service too! We had April and she was a doll! We did a mocktail and a cocktail, and a few appetizers. Amazing! You will need reservations!

This place was amazing! My parents and I definitely ordered too much but there were so many good options! The waiter was very accommodating and honestly hilarious. The portions are huge so he helped give us half orders for some and it was still too much. I would definitely recommend going and make sure you know that the portions is big!

The restaurant week menu is relatively fine in value, the dessert is added as free if goes with it. But we have the flexibility to order the regular menu at the same time. Citrus salad - 5 - refresh and balanced flavors. Crispy shrimp Musubi - 5 - a little salty on the seaweed wrap, but balanced well with the rice. Housemade Shrimp spam is a plus. Wood grilled artichokes- 5 - perfect wood smell and taste. Love the anchovy sauce. Pressed duck confit - 3 - too salty for me, both the duck and potato purée. Dilly bar - 3 too sweet, the semiffredo over thawed and became too soft. Cookie dough at the bottom is surprisingly over sweet and raw. Cuatro leches cake - 4 - balanced sweetness, not a bad choice for dessert.

Amazing service. Came here for an early Sunday brunch and literally everything was delicious and came out at the perfect timing. The creamy chicken adobo was out of this world (so soft, and the sauce was sooo good I still think about it) and pork baos were my favorite, but there wasn't a dish I didn't like!

coincidentally dropped in during restaurant week (not intentional), service was great (no reservation, gave me an outdoor table per request on a busy evening). 4 dishes (2 apps, 1 entree, 1 dessert), i have a big appetite so that was enough but not too much, which says something about portions. tres leches cake was great (not too sweet). apps were good. if i could give a 4.5 for food i would

Great Ballard restaurant with warm warehouse vibes and a menu with a wide range of food for everyone to share. The space for the restaurant is easily the most readily apparent plus to this restaurant. Large ceilings with exposed pipes and breathing room for elbows at tables summarizes this benefit to your dining experience. Now comes the food and drink. The cocktail list is loaded with modern twists on classic favorites and is heavily influenced with rum. The food is a mix of multiple cuisines leaving the diner feeling both ethnically confused uncompromisingly satisfied at the same time. The menu is a long list of items ranging from small to large but all are meant to be shared. We started with the “cheesy bread” spun classic southern Italian with ‘nduja. This was a great starter to share but could have been better with spicier ‘nduja. We then tried the roasted artichokes. Another supremely flavorful dish with lots of flavor that we wanted to enjoy, but the artichoke leaves made it difficult to savor the flavor. We would have liked to seen this dish made with baby artichokes so we could easily eat the whole thing. Aioli made with this dish was mighty tasty (and is also served with the porchetta). The hidden gem on the menu this particular evening was the spot prawn matelote. The shrimp were cooked beautifully and bathed in a mushroom sauce that we could enjoyed in a soup bowl. The wild boar ribs were tasty and slow roasted resulting in a beautiful render of fat and pork that we wish could have been matched by more of the Carolina gold mustard BBQ sauce that they were roasted in. Finally, the porchetta. Served creatively with freshly baked flat bread that they denote as “brioche” and pickings of homemade pickles, chimichurri, and the aioli described earlier. Though it doesn’t look like much, the pork can be easily spread to act as a smoky fat to capture all the goodies. Sawyer is a tastefully done restaurant with great eats to share. Can’t wait to come back in the spring for outside patio dining. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My fav brunch spot in Seattle! The food is delicious and very generous portion. Highly recommend rotisserie chicken salad. Coffee is on the sour side though I’m not a fan…
