Boat Bar is a nice place to celebrate or enjoy a meal of seafood and meats. The atmosphere is clean and inviting with a European feel. The food is a joy to try, I am finding some dishes are a little over seasoned but overall a very pleasant meal. I continue to come back and look forward to new dishes from the kitchen. Thanks

Great meal and good vibes at this Capital Hill stunner. Oysters were great as were all the salads. Fries were a standout - would def come back and try more off the menu.

Absolutely delicious! Their burger is the best burger I’ve ever had, I just wish it was offered in a bigger size. The drinks had an interesting twist as well which made them stand out from other restaurants, and the service was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!

We walked in for Happy Hour on a Thursday and had no issue getting seated. This is definitely a place to get fresh oysters, a cocktail, and maybe a few small plates if you're interested. I'll start by saying that the oysters were incredible. So fresh and generally delicious. The vibe inside was relatively chill/quiet which was nice, and aesthetically the white & turquoise played into a really pleasant ambiance. We also tried the prawns dish and it just wasn't for us. It was a bit too savory and at that price per prawn, I would've much rather just gotten more oysters (especially during HH). They had lots of small plates that sounded good, so I'm sure there's something for everyone... but for premium prices, I'd prefer not to feel like the menu might be hit-and-miss. This came as a surprise/disappointment to me, as I have loved trying different Sea Creatures restaurants when in the Seattle area. I know I referenced price above, but it is fair to note that premium experiences tend to come with premium prices. Therefore, fresh (delicious) oysters come at market prices (as you'd assumed). For those wondering... my guess would be that their selection likely ranges between $4-6 per oyster (depending on what they're serving). Our Sippican oysters, for example, were on the higher end at $5 per ($4 with HH). Their Happy Hour goes from Open (5pm) to 6pm, and offers $1 off oysters, beer, wine and house cocktails. This is DEFINITELY something to take advantage of if you plan to come to try a selection of their oysters, as the $1 off each oyster really adds up! I'd come back - I just likely would stick to HH oysters and play it safe👌🏽

This is one of my favorite hang-out spots in the Capital hill area. Great food, nice ambiance, and excellent service. It can be a great spot for a romantic date. Not cheap so expect to make a dent in your wallet. Check them out if you are in the area.

Bottom line first: beautiful restaurant with tasty bites that are almost as satisfying to look at as they are to eat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beautiful restaurant set atop Capitol Hill. The first thing you notice is the decor of the space. Stunning green and white tiles surround a marble bar with green bar stools. The space is gorgeous, and our waitress happily admits that many patrons simply stop inside to take photographs of it. We started off with one of each oyster and locally made bread. Both of which were great. We then went with the fried fish skin. Obviously the most beautiful item on the menu. From there we tried the duck prosciutto. The smokey meat paired delightfully with the fatty olive oil and nutty pistachios. We finished our dinner off with the profiterole and canale. Overall a great dinner. Would have like to have tried more of the garden and meat dishes but we got full too soon. I will eventually return, but I will likely try one of the other restaurants in the group first.

The food was amazing and the staff was even better. Everyone was extremely well versed in what oysters would best suit your personal pallet, and the staff surprised us by brining desert on the house!

Good French themed bar with yummy small plates. The restaurants under the Sea Creatures brand certainly do not disappoint and Bar Melusine is no exception. We ordered a few drinks and ate our dinner here to try out much of the menu. We enjoyed the frites as they were fried to classic Belgium style and fully of flavor. I also enjoyed the lamb and oysters. The lamb tasted very much like pastrami, but combined with the aioli it was divine.

This is the best oyster selection in Seattle. However they source the oysters, they somehow just taste better here. The small plates are great, don't skip the beef tartare. The cocktails are fun, and the wine list is full of unique flavors. Especially the whites, full of unusual minerally french gems. Don't forget to ask for the house made hot sauce, have it with a side of fries!

So good! Lovely place to get a cute cocktail and not feel pressured to eat a full meal. Gorgeous small plate menu. Oysters are a la carte so you can try them one at a time or order a bunch of your fave. Pricey but feels appropriate. Great spot for a fancy first date: easy to find people and a casual but beautiful environment. Also excellent spot for meeting your girlfriends for happy hour after work, a solo date with just you and a book at the bar, or a first stop to bring a friend from out of town. Would recommend making reservations for parties over 2 people. Beautiful spot.
