Very trendy place, parking is not bad since it's off of the main streets in the area. The beef pho was good, but their broth was very peppery compared to other pho spots that I've been to. We managed to get there during happy hour, and the cocktails were very good too. Prices have been upped by a dollar, but still a nice, modern pho shop.

We love this little place. It is small and it gets crowded but it always seems pleasant and relaxing. Their vegetarian pho is delicious and has tons of flavor -- it's also huge!!! I haven't tried anything else it's so good but I'm dying to try more of the menu.

I absolutely loved the food here! The ingredients were super fresh, the dishes reasonably priced and the atmosphere pretty cozy. I would definitely go back and I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends. Check my IG for more restaurant/travel/hotels feedback: @lawyer.traveler.dreamer 🤩

BOL is a Vietnamese restaurant that does lots of non-traditional and fusion type foods. Their portions are very big and their prices are decent. They have lots to choose from on their menu, including vegetarian meals and desserts as well. The staff here is nice and it can get busy here, especially when Portage Bay is packed and people don't want to wait to eat. I'd definitely recommend their fried rice and their beignets and delicious even though they are more like biscuits then fluffy pillows.

Flavors that took me back to my trip to Vietnam here in Seattle! Taylor was an amazing host for us and the food was safe for a Celiac. Best Vietnamese ice coffee that I have had short of being there. Will be returning soon 👌

What a wonderful restaurant! We stopped in for a weekend brunch and were so impressed by the food, the atmosphere, and the service. The outdoor patio is the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends, and the food itself is really excellent — we especially enjoyed the kalbi short ribs and the fish sauce wings, but everything we tried was great. Lots of traditional American brunch favorites on the menu, too — we will have to come back to try it all!

My husband and I have been living in this neighborhood for over a year and we couldn't believe it's taken us this long to discover BOL! After returning from a long trip, we ordered delivery and the driver went beyond the call of duty and dropped off our hot food directly in front of our third-floor apartment door. It arrived before we even got home and we were beyond amazed at the quality of vegetables and MSG-free broth!!!! I've been suffering bad reactions to MSG at many other restaurants nearby so finding BOL is such a game-changer for us and a new favorite staple.

Friendly staff, clean environment and savory food. The reason for 4 stars is that the beef on bone was cold in some parts and hot in others.

Accidentally stumbled on this place trying to look for portage bay. It didn’t look like a traditional Vietnamese restaurant. Really trendy, open bar and dining area - it felt like LA. Was wondering if the food was going to be authentic and we ordered the rice dish: com tam trout Was better than expected! Fried to perfection and the bones were edible. Love this spot and the atmosphere. Will come back and take advantage of the bottomless brunch mimosas next time Note: not sure why it was called “com tam” (aka broken rice), it was just normal rice 😅. Tasted fine, but just a note for the owners.

Lunch and dinner options are good, but weekend brunch is the way to go. Large, satisfying portions of delicious food, and Bloody Marys / Mimosas to pair. Great value and always friendly service.

Amazing food at the weekend brunch, at an amazing price!! I got the pork crepe - the portion size, taste, and quality were phenomenal! Highly recommended if you're in the area on a weekend!
