Stumptown is my go-to coffee shop.  They have the best mocha in Seattle (made with woodblock chocolate); it's creamy without the weird taste that chocolate syrups have.  I love their single-origin beans, and you can get a huge range of flavors (sage, lime, blackberry). Their Grand Cru beans come out a few times a year and I always have my friends over for a tasting.  They're some of the most unique beans you'll ever have.

Place is tiny so if you are thinking of coming and working here would not suggest that. This place would be better for meeting a friend. The quality is good, i should say i tried equally good cappuccino for cheaper price. Overall stuff is nice and friendly, bright space with huge window on one side. They also have some selection of pastries.

Ordered a mocha here for my first time. It was quite good, not overly sweet. It was a bit pricey, but not overly so given the location. However, my visit seemed a bit lacking. The seating arrangement and table situation isn't conducive to getting much work done if you have much more than a laptop, and the music selection was a bit too upbeat for my liking (though you can just use your headphones, as I did). Would go again, but probably wouldn't frequent.

I’ve been wanting to visit Stumptown since I first began to get serious about coffee, and my visit did not disappoint. The baristas were very friendly and talkative, and didn’t hesitate to jot down some other coffee shops to visit in the city. Love their iced latte and cold brew, wasn’t crazy about their honey peppercorn latte but to each their own. The shop is pretty small, there isn’t a lot of seating area, and what is available is cramped. Don’t plant to get any serious work done here. But this was definitely one of my favorite coffee experiences so far!

Tried the cold brew, which they specialise in and it was really nice. Gave me a sample of their boost (?) One and I loved it. Also a fan of their cold brew with milk that I get from world market. Small place but comfortable and great staff. Would be my place of choice if I lived in Seattle.

I'm a huge fan of Stumptown coffee so it was a treat to visit one of their cafes. The atmosphere was excellent and very casual and I enjoyed the simple yet comfy style. I ordered a basic dark roast drip to start and it was the smooth, flavorful Stumptown that I've come to expect. Later on I decided to order a decaf (that's right) latte. It was perfectly made - a wonderful coffee flavor with just enough milk to add a creamy thickness to the drink. The coffee art was well done, too. Well, at least until I destroyed it pre-photo. The shop was a bit small so it probably gets pretty packed during peak hours but from what I can tell the employees know their stuff and make a damn good cup o' joe.

Small and cute place. The staff are friendly and helpful when I was selecting coffee beans to purchase as gifts. You can ask them for samples tasters. Lots of beans selection and I really liked their coffee!

I thought Stumptown was all hype until I started coming here. This is the only coffee shop I've been to in Seattle where every single drink I've had is so good. I've had the cold brew, mocha, chai, and drip. Even the drip is amazing. I don't know how they do it. The only thing is the seating is sparse and uncomfortable. I have gone in several times when there was no seating at all.

Probably the best coffee I've had in Seattle! The cafe is cute, but small. I was disappointed that they didn't sell larger bags of whole beans in their store -- they sell the exact same products as other stores are carrying.
