My intentions were to come in and purchase one cupcake. I walked out with a personal cake and a few other items. I'm glad I did. It was my first time visiting and I wanted to see what the hype was all about. Very flavorful, fluffy and light tasting cupcakes. The Pink Champagne cake is hands down the best thing I walked away with today. The service was impeccable. The staff ensured that my items were packaged carefully as I was traveling around town all day. Try it if you are ever on this side of town.
Very nice cupcakes. We walked by and it just happend to be cupcake happy hour :)
There where nice discounts on the cupcakes because of happy hour.
Very nice guy at the counter that helped us. Had a lovely chat with him.
They have a lot of toppings and beautiful decodations.
I am a big fan of cupcakes. The ones here are decent but not exceptional. If I were there, I would eat one again, but I would seek out another bakery if on the hunt for cupcakes. The cake on them was consistently good. The frosting not as much so.
The view is wonderful, I personally did not get anything on this day but my husband raves for this place our son and daughter luved what they ordered. I particularly enjoyed watching the all-around happy faces coming in going out. The young lady at the counter left me admiring her on how gentle and Courteous she was not only with us but with an elderly lady with a walker. She went around the counter with the lady's order in a bag and held the door open for her as well. Definitely coming back. Temptations was there for those cupcakes appetite wasn't.
I came here accidentally during cupcake happy hour. The cupcake was 30% off which I think it's a neat little discount. It's a cute little bakery. Very hipster (but in a good way!)
I got a strawberry banana cupcake. The frosting was very subtle in flavor and generally very heavy. Nice but not my favorite. But the cupcake was banana itself and was soooo good. It was soft and moist. Great cupcake.

Everything about The Yellow Leaf is wonderful. The cupcakes are gorgeous (and covered in edible glitter), the guy who sold me my cupcake was friendly, fun, and helpful, and the HAVE A HAPPY HOUR! My only "complaint" is that, honestly, it's too much frosting, but the thing is that the cupcakes wouldn't be as GORGEOUS without that pile of buttercream, and the cake underneath is nicely moist, so rather than take a star off for too much frosting, I'd just say that next time I have one I'll take a photo, toss half the frosting, and enjoy. Just think of it as the gift wrapping on a lovely package :-) Looking forward to trying their macaron!
Delightful quiet little bakery and cafe! I enjoyed a tasty sandwich and delicious cookie and cupcake. Drip coffee is bottomless and it was really good too! Staff was so nice. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars.
Pancake and bacon transformed into a cupcake - life is good! Great little bake shop. Cupcake flavors for days, macaroons and tasty sandwiches! Stop by and try it out! So yummy!!
Used to work a block awayand came in at least 3 times a week. Now I live way south, so everytime I'm in Seattle I absolutely have to stop in and get a fix for my sweety tooth. Best cupcakes and macaroons in town. Hands down. I can't even eat cupcakes from anywhere else anymore. Pic is today's purchase. My family loves it when I walk in carrying that tell tail box😁. The staff are always great, and the owners are awesome. All my birthday cakes come from here as well. I'd give more stars if possible.
My sweet tooth and I love this place, especially after work for happy hour! The staff is incredibly nice, and these cupcakes are so so tasty! For those who shy away from sweet frostings, don't need to here. It's sweet enough and with a light and airy texture. Even the key lime cheesecake cupcake I had today wasn't heavy. Honestly, I haven't had a cupcake I didn't enjoy. If you haven't been, you should really give this place a try.
