Absolutely LOVE Bongos. I’ve never had a bad meal here, and I’ve probably been 10-15 times. I actually like that they did away with the sandpit. It was always a little gross for the kids. Spicy shrimp sandwich is not to be missed. The only negative (and it’s not worth subtracting a star) is that the kids menu items are simply reportioned adult menu items, so they are spicy - too spicy for most little kids.

Great food with nice indoor and outdoor seating. This is my first time having Caribbean food and I really loved it. I got the Jamaican chicken curry which was very tasty and filling. Would definitely recommend that. My wife got the bucco chicken which was also very good but I liked mine better. Parking was pretty easy to get. Overall it was a great experience.

It was amazing for adults. Not great for kids honestly, the kids food is spicy. A worthy stop, it's a must for anyone who loves a good kick of spice! Their Caribbean dishes are not just flavorful, but also pack a spicy punch that's simply irresistible. The chicken is an absolute winner – perfectly seasoned and with just the right amount of heat. If you're into spicy food, this is your spot. But beware, it's not for the faint of heart! Service-wise, these folks are on point. Attentive, friendly, and quick, even when the place is buzzing. Cleanliness is clearly a priority here. The dining area is neat and tidy, creating a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy your spicy feast. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the generous portions and the quality of the food. It’s a great value for the authentic Caribbean experience they offer. Overall, Bongos Caribbean is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to dive into spicy, authentic Caribbean cuisine. Whether you're a spice veteran or just looking to try something new, you won't be disappointed. Will definitely be back for more!

I ordered the Cuban Picadillo. The spices were perfect. And the bread pudding which I’m not sure is regularly on their menu is like wow. Nice and hefty with a nice light coconut taste & not too sweet.

Love the food love the atmosphere. If I didn't live so far I could eat here everyday of the week. If you do live far and your craving some really good Caribbean food it's by farrrrrr worth the drive. Gotta try their shrimp po boy sandwitch( easily can split for two) then try one of their signature bowl dishes.

Hands down some of the best food I've had in a long time. Got the West Indies plate and wow, everything was amazing. Fairly priced (around $13.99 I think) and the spiciness, flavors and cook on the food was spot on. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for some really good lunch or dinner. Truly a gem of Seattle.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Seattle. Incredibly charming spot with food that is absolutely packed with flavor. The spicy shrimp bowl is to die for. I have brought countless friends here over the years, each one completely blown away. Of the 20+ times I’ve eaten here, the quality and consistency of the food has been absolutely astounding every time. I could not recommend this restaurant enough

Love this place. Food was just amazing. Free parking around the place. Rest room with access code. Order and grab a table. Dogs on leash. Small sand pit for kids to play.

This place is so cool, they have renovated since last year with a new deck outdoors. Previously the seating area was all sand and made you feel like you were eating lunch in a beach somewhere. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is so fun. The place is kid- and dog-friendly, highly recommend if youre looking for a unique place to dine.

Jerk chicken plate was perfectly seasoned and juicy with an excellent smoky flavor. Sides were great as well. Portion size was generous for the price. The fried chicken po boy was 4/5 — surprisingly spicy. The bread deserves its own shoutout as well!
