Wowza! Who knew healthy brunch spots could be so fun! What’s my favorite thing?!? The seasonal fruit/berry bar! You have the ability to decorate your pancakes/french toast to your hearts desire … with fresh fruit, whipped cream, and a variety of nuts! The pancakes, french toast, and eggs/potatoes were delish! Most unique aspect was the lean/clean experience! 😋 5/5 🌟’s for quality wholesome ingredients!

If you love lively diners with great breakfast food and big portions that I'm sure are meant for sharing, then stop by! Breakfast served til 1:30pm. It never fails that I have a new favorite; from Swedish pancakes to giant French toast or Migas (spicy egg scramble blanketed in a house-made tortilla, topped with guacamole to sooth the sting)! Today's favorite drink: Special mimosa (cranberry apple cinnamon) = perfect sweet tart refresher with breakfast! Remember the portions are big enough to share with 1 other adult!! Bon appetite!

Recommend making a reservation before you go. This place is always busy. Food and services are great. I love the fruit bars, especially the big, juicy blackberry. If you order anything that includes a visit to a fruit bar, ask for the extra plate.

The food is always amazing, staff are super friendly and helpful, they're known for the "breakfast bar" which has fruit, nuts, whipped cream and other toppings. It gets busy so expect a small wait for a table, but once you're seated service is prompt despite how busy it is!

I definitely recommend getting reservations here. It is super popular and has a long line because of that. This also means it can be a bit loud, but despite the business, the hosts check in on you pretty often and the food isn’t too slow. I’m torn about the mushroom eggs Benedict. The toppings made it one of the best Benedict’s I have had but the eggs were overbooked. Mauve it’s done on purpose and I should have clarified but generally I m like Benedict’s have runny eggs which is how I like them. The toppings on the other hand were amazing! It was a nice mix of squash, cooked veggies, and not to much holinday sauce. All together it made it a great savory bite that wasn’t too much. The potato’s as well were well cooked with great seasoning and a crispy bite. Even though I didn’t get it (which is probably good for their bottom line), there was a berry station too with tones of different berries and whipped cream. In general it was a bit pricy for breakfast food but good for what you are getting. I would definitely recommend here especially if you get reservations and clarify how you want your eggs cooked.

Loved the brunch. Service was super slow though. Had to wait over 30 mins for our brunch to be served. They have a berry bar which has berries whipped cream and nuts . We got the banana walnut french toast, shakshuka and the pork omlette. They come with bread and potatoes. All of the items were fresh and the portion size was good. Hope the service gets better. We had a reservation and still had to wait over 15 mins for our table

Incredible food and service. So many dishes with proportion sizes that are very justified for the price. Brunch mimosas pitchers are a must for groups. The atmosphere is nice, but can get incredibly loud and busy. Our waitress was incredibly helpful and attentive.

Everything was so delicious. Best country gravy I've ever had. And the French toast was so fluffy. One of the best breakfast places around

By far, our favorite place for breakfast in Seattle. I’m gonna say top 5 ever and we’ve had the chance to travel the world. The portions are HUGE! We shared the “Rachers Breakfast” which came with 3 eggs, potatoes, sausage/bacon and two French toast (with one trip to the berry bar). Delicious orange and grapefruit juice. Reserve your table ahead of time that morning!

I recently visited Portage Bay Cafe for brunch, and I have to say, it was one of the best brunch experiences I've had in a long time. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with plenty of natural light and a beautiful view of the water. The menu was extensive, with plenty of options for both sweet and savory dishes. I opted for the Farmer's Hash, which was loaded with fresh vegetables and topped with a perfectly poached egg. The hash was hearty and flavorful, and the egg was cooked to perfection. My partner ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, which were light and fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. One of the best things about Portage Bay Cafe is their commitment to using fresh, local, and sustainable ingredients. They have a toppings bar where you can load up on fresh fruit, whipped cream, and other delicious toppings for your pancakes or French toast. I loved being able to customize my meal and add as much fresh fruit as I wanted. The service at Portage Bay Cafe was also top-notch. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations and checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I would highly recommend Portage Bay Cafe to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying brunch experience. The food is fresh and flavorful, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is top-notch. I can't wait to go back!
