Casual, upscale place to have lunch. Right next to the Chihuly Glass Garden and next to the Space Needle. The Crabby Beni was fantastic. The serving size was large, could have split with another person. So many different collections to look at. Our table had a recessed are with miniature bottles in it.

Must Go. OK--so even if you don't go to see the Chihuly Museum (which would be a big mistake if you've never seen it) this is still a great place to go for a delicious meal in a lovely and light environment with incredible service.
It was what in the past we would call an unseasonable February Sunday and we arrived at noon for a light lunch after seeing the Chihuly. Collections, named after Dale Chihuly's life-long penchant for collecting a variety of objects, lives up to its name upon arrival. One cannot miss the assortment of accordions hanging from the ceiling and wonder what other collections might await. We were greeted by a lovely young hostess who had a springlike Donna Reed dress and demure. Our table, which had a glass top covering a collection of glass juicers beneath, was only one of the many various 'Chihuly collections' which are encased under each table.
We began our meal by sharing some wonderful beignets with a choice of two dips: bananas foster and vanilla ganache, complemented by blueberries and strawberries. I had a perfectly prepared Caesar salad and red pepper soup--both outstanding.
As for service, it couldn't be better and Erica was as gracious, welcoming, and prompt as I could wish for.
While my future visits won't always include the Chihuly I will seek out opportunities to eat here often.

It's a neat little artsy place right under the space needle. The menu isn't very big, but the food was good & reasonably priced. It's not very kid-friendly.

Lovely. I had the Salmon Benedict. It was cooked just right. I also had a wonderful strawberry lavender lemonade. This is a pricey meal and I think it's $$$ but a nice treat.

Fabulous atmosphere. Groovy artwork. Love the ambience.we split the burger wrapped in bacon and a bottle of wine.the apple cider coleslaw was underdressed. The waiter was responses and hospitable.the price was on par for the quality. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful hip restaurant. Very cool little restaurant tucked on the side of the Chihuly Glass Exhibition. The food was very good, the wine excellent. The only suggestion is that for a berry salad (main entree), instead of romaine as the filler lettuce, try a combo of local or dark greens or even a combo of dark and micro greens. It would make for a more interesting salad. The concept of a main berry salad was great, but the filler romaine was not. The pistacchio ravioli in brown butter sauce with dark green fresh rainbow chard was excellent. Service was very good. This is a great addition to the Seattle Center. Wonderful to go to before a play or ballet. Especially since the restaurant Prelude at McCaw Hall is probably one of the worst places to dine in Seattle. Head over to Collections Cafe instead for a truly good meal.

The Perfect Seattle Lunch. Just ate here today and was so impressed with the great staff and the exceptional food. Had the burger with Beecher's Marco Polo cheese (oh god it was so good!!!!) with skinny fries, a cucumber lemonade (bubbly and refreshing, not too sweet) and shared the warm chard salad with mushrooms. The light cream and fresh fruit dessert with vanilla bean and mint leaves was perfect. also loved their coffee. Would go back to have a french press coffee and dessert on the patio. Will also be back for dinner. I want to see the lights on the Chihuly glass in the garden at night.

Lunch was good! The plating was super fun and impressive. Our waitress was not having the best day and as such the service wasn’t the best, but would certainly give it another visit based on the food alone.

This cafe is so cute! I only grabbed a hot chocolate from here and it was delicious and the staff were really sweet! The 4 stars are mainly for the decor and interiors! It is so interesting and fun! I’ll have to try their food offerings to revise the rating and am looking forward to it!

It’s a cute little place to eat while visiting the Chihuly Garden and Glass. The interior is really neat with the alert work inside the tables. Overall the food was good, but a little pricey. Definitely good if you’re here for the one time while traveling and not having to leave the property while waiting to go to the Space Needle. I got the Macaroni and cheese, minus bacon because I don’t eat meat. It was good but not as creamy as I had hoped. But the garlic fries were extremely good!

Cozy and yummy! This small restaurant has a very unique decor. The staff are friendly. The food is delicious and fresh. They have a fun activity worksheet for the kids and a kids menu. They con of this place will be - they take a very long time to get your food and their table knives couldn't cut the meat well. Over all - it's a lovely restaurant, very relaxing and delicious food!

Little gem of a cafe steps away from the Chihuly and the Needle. Enjoyed the delicious carrot soup and bruschetta. Our waiter, Garrett was attentive and very friendly which just added to our enjoyment. Recommend and make a reservation because it was magnificent and busy.

Great food and great service! Pleasant designs and collections variety - each table showcases a different collection. Not noisy at all, great for an pleasant conversation. The soup of the day is fantastic every single time! Also a nice location for a stroll before or after the meal.

We love the Collections Cafe! After visiting the lovely and amazing Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum we stop by the café for a delicious meal. The staff is very welcoming, neatly dressed, and always willing to ensure that we get a table either through a reservation or walk in. The menu is classic Americana, with a variety of delicious, fresh, and well-paired fare. My husband loves the clam chowder and I go for the crabcakes and salad. They also have classic burgers and french fries. Yum! And...they serve on real dishes, and flatware. Not a piece of plastic in sight. Thank you! What really makes this café special is the number of collections displayed by Chihuly. From fishing lures to old radios and accordions. Wow! This place is cool! A shining gem at the bottom of the Seattle Space Needle!

The Collections Café is inside the Chihuly Garden and Glass Exhibit. Admission to the exhibit is not required to eat there. The Dining Room is open until 4pm. Reservations can be made ahead of time, but we ate there after going through the exhibit without making any. The name of the restaurant comes from this being the place that houses many of Mr. Chihuly's collections. He liked to find the beauty in everyday things. Even the dining tables have showcases for pocket knives, bottle openers, used shaving brushes, Mexican Silver Ashtrays, African necklaces, silvered inkwells, fish decoys and plugs, tin toys, vintage glass Christmas ornaments and fly-fishing reels. Hanging from the ceiling is his accordion collection. In shelves on the walls are transistor and plastic radios, alarm clocks, 1950’s cameras, colored and silvered glass juicers, silvered glass bottles from Venice, doll-house furniture, toy cars and some with house trailers, and ceramic dog collections. It is quite a place. It is also about food, and we found it expensive. Two sandwiches and a bowl of chowder were $38. It was a convenient location for lunch before we went on to see the Space Needle.

I've been to Collections Café twice, once for dinner on a weekday and once for brunch on a weekend. I highly recommend the brunch over the dinner. The dinner options were okay, but nothing that really stood out as special. I may just be spoiled from Seattle's extensive ingredient list at most higher end restaurants though. For dinner, I remember our group of eight all ordering either salads, pasta, or sandwiches. None were very memorable. For brunch, I enjoyed the Belgian waffle with berries and a side of breakfast potatoes and a cappuccino. The waffle was perfect, and I loved that you could add your own toppings (whipped cream, syrup, berries. The cappuccino was also very good. After trying it, my friend was sad he had gotten the coffee with milk instead of the cappuccino. I thought the coffee with milk was good too. My friend got the dutch pancake with fried eggs and potatoes. The pancake wasn't really a pancake though. It was more creamy and liquidy in the middle, and very thick. The eggs were eggs. A bit overcooked because we like them runny. We both agreed the potatoes were too salty.

A nice stop after visiting the Chihuly exhibit, or if you are in the district. The collections are super interesting and the food is good. Sit in the indoors area and if you like shrimp, the appie is delicious.
