Absolutely delicious! Every ingredient tasted so so fresh, and the portions were the perfect size. I recommend the Spicy Cilantro Verde -- this dish was super yummy (and vegan & gluten-free, if you're into that). And to quench my thirst on a hot Arizona day, I ordered the Cucumber Mint Limeade aguas fresca!!
Now I can't wait to come eat here again :)
Impressed! We had it delivered for dinner and everything was so delicious, fresh, great quality! Flavors are rich and portions are decent. The drinks too are good.
And if you have a sweet tooth, then no way you can skip churro waffle bites - they're out of this world. Tocaya food is beyond!
Great food and ambiance at a really affordable price point. Their taco combo comes with a side and either a margarita or agua fresca. The aesthetics here is amazing as well. Bright and airy feel with modern desert vibes. The fish tacos were tasty, guacamole with pomegranate and pumpkin seeds was actually really good, and the queso was delicious. Maybe not legit legit Mexican food, but yummy overall. Has nice AC to keep the restaurant cool for all the sun that comes in. They offer military discount here as well!
Tocaya is one of our favorite restaurants! We have never been disappointed by the food here. The space is beautiful and there is a lot of seating. Great place for lunch or dinner if you’re close to Fashion Square.
I personally love the bowls, and my husband loves the burritos. I usually choose chicken tikka, but there are several protein options to choose from. They also have cheap tacos you can order a la carte. My husband likes their spiked lemonades and other drinks!
One thing we never miss out on is the guacamole with plantain chips. The pomegranate seeds just add a pop of flavor, and the plantain chips are light and crispy. We have tried several items on the menu and I would recommend everything!
Visited this gem lastnight for a quick dinner, I had the shredded kale & quinoa salad and my partner had a burrito with cilantro lime rice, shredded chicken and black beans. My salad was delicious and was a pretty large serving. The burrito was initially overcooked on the bottom but it was easy asking to have it remade. The ambience was welcoming and staff was really nice, prompt and attentive! Will be back!
Good food, fairly quick, one of my tacos was wrong and they were nice and removed it from the bill. I'll go back again for something different. The tacos were a bit on the spicy side, and I'm good with spice but it overwhelmed the flavor.
The food here was excellent and they had great selections for gluten free and vegans. The churro waffles were delicious and the quesadillas were also great. The interior design of the restaurant was beautiful as well. I’d definitely come back again!
I love eating here! It’s always quick, awesome service and everyone is friendly. And of course the food is delicious. Chips are nice and crispy, salsa has a good flavor too. As a vegan I love that everything starts out as an vegan option. I am always very excited to have organic good food as an option. Definitely check it out if you haven’t.
Enjoyed the entire meal. Hubby had burrito and I had Vegan chikn quesadilla. Very flavorful and served to us in a timely manner and hot. Didn’t care for spiced fruit bowl for dessert though it was very fresh. Will definitely return next time we visit the area. Highly recommend.
Lots of different combos of proteins/toppings on the tacos. One of my favorites is the fried mahi mahi taco/baja style. Don't miss the delicious guacamole (go with large for 2 scoops) with plantain chips.
