The wife and I wanted to check out a golf course/club while we were out in Sedona. Mesquite Grill at McDowell Mountain Golf Club was great! Very nice food, pleasant server and a great view in our opinion. If we didn't live in Connecticut we would definitely come in more often.

Absolutely beautiful environment in which to dine. We sat outdoors but in the shade because it was close to noon and HOT. We overlooked the golf course and driving range. The scenery was quite relaxing.
Our service was exceptional. Kind, attentive, and our food came quickly. I had a salad and truffle fries. They were both good, but the salad was superior. The fries could've used a bit more truffle flavor, but I'm a big lover of truffles so maybe that's just my preference.
Note: You do not have to be golfing or a country club member to eat here. Come and have a lovely meal!
We enjoyed lunch here after spending time at the Frank Lloyd Wright property. We sat on the patio and enjoyed sandwiches, salads, and cocktails.
Excellent nachos--more like Irish nachos. Sandwiches are also solid as are bar-made drinks. A friendly staff, although any day or evening when there is a large event, the restaurant itself may likely be severely understaffed. View is wonderful and sunsets always fantastic here. Easy walk from almost any home in McDowell Mountain Ranch. Wish the golf course would offer 9 hole options in the heat and fall.
Love the food...Limited menu but everything is great. From fish tacos, to salads, to great hamburgers all with great flavor and a large portion.
The Grill has recently been remodeled with ample seating outside as well as in.
Outstanding restaurant for a public golf course. My wife had nachos to die for and I had the pork shoulder. I've been to many other places and not had anyone do a better job than they did at the mesquite grill. The only reason I didn't rate it higher was that which is reserved for very, very high-end places.
Great after golf location, aka 19th hole. The combo nachos appetizer was delicious. The beer selection is good and the beeers are extremely cold. Very good service as well. Play the course and stay for lunch or beverages
This is an excellent place to eat with great views. If you get there early enough, sit on their beautiful patio. The food is fantastic, especially the fish tacos.
Sunday brunch was very good. I had lox and bagel . They have french toast, pancakes, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, and made to order omelets.
Great food, wonderful sunset over the mts.
