First time at Bitters. I enjoyed the ambiance and the staff was friendly. It wasn't packed so to say, but most seats were filled up on a Thursday evening. Just went for cocktails and they were spot on! Loved that we could have a conversation without having to scream. Definitely will be back to try the food menu
I came here for their Tuesday night trivia and it was a blast! Highly recommend this weekday activity.
I ordered the nachos with steak, truffle fries, and cauliflower. The only thing that blew me away was the cauliflower. It was very tasty and executed nicely. The nachos tasted very bland, the steak was tough, and there was about 1/3 cup of sour cream on top. The fries were good, but way too salty.
As for drinks, they were pretty good. I liked the Aviation and the other drinks that were ordered (Boulevardier, and Platinum Marg) were also good.
The service was good, no complaints here.
Overall, this is a place to go for Happy Hour and Trivia! Highly recommend it if you’re grabbing a drink or playing trivia.
This was a neat little spot for a bite and a few drinks! The food was amazing and the drinks were awesome. I got the fried cauliflower as an appetizer and I was blown away! It was basically a full head! Absolutely delicious and piping hot! The BBQ chicken sandwich was awesome and the side fries were the best!
My first impression was that maybe they were trying to hard to appeal to too many people. TVs and football and yelling patrons like a sports bar, high-end cocktails like a hipster cocktail bar, Scottsdale strip mall like any generic chain.. however, I was pleasantly surprised. Both of our meals were excellent. The steak was expertly prepared, the chicken was crispy and juicy, the potatoes were killer and the asparagus was perfectly cooked. Even more important than the food though, the cocktails were killer. My wife enjoyed the Bitter Key Lime Pie so much that she had two of them. I ordered the Midtown Manhattan and the Bitter Over The Top. The Over The Top was cool and it was a tasty drink but the extra cost of the theatrical elements weren't really worth it, in my opinion. The Midtown Manhattan, on the other hand, was outstanding. The theatrical element of the smoke chamber was pretty cool but the drink spoke for itself. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.
New menu items are delish. Cocktails are wonderful. Bartenders are great at suggestions. Good brunch on weekends. Great after work place during the week. The smoked old fashioned is always a good choice.
Bitters is a lovely place to have a drink and relax Outdoors. It's kind of like a sports bar but more trendy than that. It's a great place to have a unusual drink maybe a pale ale or a glass of chardonnay. The atmosphere is wonderful. It's brand new it's very inviting. The ambiance is awesome. The bartenders were helpful the servers were a little overwhelmed with 20 of us but they tried to accommodate us as best they could. The owner even came out and shook our hands. I was not impressed with the food selections. There's not enough to really have a dinner and be full. It's better for a light appetite. My advice is go to dinner first and then come here for an after-dinner drink. Or come for happy hour and then go and get a real meal they do have a hamburgers chicken tacos pork ribs, french fries, and kale salad. You got to come and try it. The staff was very nice.
I was introduced to this location by a friend. I decided to stop by after the gym for a quick cocktail and bite.
Upon arrival I noticed the location was hosting a karaoke event hosted by none other than miss Kiki V. She can definitely belt out some tunes. Nick was behind the bar.
Had a few cocktails which were very flavorful. Tried their wings and nachos, also very well curated and rich in flavor. I’m a big boy so I’m glad I ordered two items. I even got the courage to sing a song for the karaoke.
Vibe: this place gave me nostalgia to an old bar I went to on the far west side. Definitely a nice environment to just relax and enjoy being in the moment. They do have board games for guests as well.

Our friends took us to this new cool place! Interesting concept of small plates, so you can have a chance to order several different things to enjoy more food! Also, during our dinner the lady came over and offered us to try Colorado tequila.

Stopped in for dinner, very cozy spot. Very large patio that's more than welcoming during our severe Arizona winters. The beer selection was decent, but this is a cocktail spot. Very unique and delicious drinks on the menu. Opted for the Manhattan so we could watch them make it in the special pour-over contraption. Staff were all very welcoming. Food was great, too. South Scottsdale gem hiding in Skysong.
To be honest, this wasn't the greatest experience. We waited to be seated longer than expected. Once we were acknowledged, she said she would clear us a table. Which she did, but then took another few minutes after clearing the table to come get us.
Once seated, we pretty swiftly ordered our drinks, the Bitter Cucumber and A Tid Bit Prickly. Once the drinks arrived, I knew my drink (Bitter Cucumber) didn't look right.
We were only there for one drink and when we got the check, it confirmed we were right, we got the Pineapple Express instead. My drink was supposed to be $11 but the drink they gave me was $17. The only good outcome was when we brought this to their attention, they agreed to take the $17 drink off our tab and get the correct one.
The male server that night was great! The female seemed a bit all over the place. But good news is all drinks, whether we ordered it or not, was great. Just think they might be a bit unorganized.
